Hi everyone! :D
I have decided to post every Saturday, but because this is my last week of holidays, I am posting a Sneak Peek.
It is a very small part of the next chapter.

Sneak Peek

Halyptia POV

We had left the abandoned city three hours ago.
As we flew over towns and cities, Percy told us we were close.
My hair billowed around my face.
I should've tied it up, like Piper. I thought to myself, annoyed.
"I think we'll only need to make one more stop, before reaching Nyx!" Percy yelled over the rushing wind.
"How long till our final stop?!" Piper shouted back.
"About an hour!" Percy replied.
Zachary hadn't spoken since we left the deserted town. He was probably taking his time to get used to the fact that he was a demigod.
"Zachary! Who do you think your Olympian Parent is?!" I shouted, trying to make conversation. He looked startled and had probably been daydreaming.
He thought for a moment.
"...I'm not really sure.." He replied.
I nodded.
"We'll find out at Camp Half Blood. Everyone usually gets claimed as soon as they get there." I replied.
That's what Chiron told me.
"Oh, you can all call me Zach. That's what most people call me." He explained.
"Okay Zach," Percy replied, smiling. I smiled too.
I looked over at Piper and noticed that she looked quite sad.
I directed my Pegasus next to Piper, so that we could talk without shouting over the wind.
"What's the matter?" I asked.
"Nothing." Piper replied with a small smile. Then a tear escaped from her welled up eyes.
Piper sighed and wiped it away.
"Stupid wind," She laughed softly.
"Piper. I can tell that you're upset." I told her sternly.
She looked at me and sighed again.
"..It's.. Jason.." She replied, sorrowfully.
"What happened? I thought everything was fine between you two." I replied confusedly.
"Do you remember the day I wanted to Iris-Message him?" She asked.
I nodded. It was after we had found the Necklace of Harmonia.
"Well, when I saw him through the IM... h-he was kissing... Reyna.." She explained.
I was shocked. I couldn't even imagine that would happen.
Suddenly, all four of our Pegasi began to fall.

A lot of stuff is going to happen in the next chapter. I couldn't reveal any of it though. :P

It was a really long chapter, and I'm still editing it.. :(
..but finally, here it is:

Chapter 47

Halyptia POV

Suddenly, all four of our Pegasi began to fall. We all screamed.
"What happened?!" Piper yelled, in pure terror, as we fell.
We all carried on screaming, waiting for impact. It never came.
We were hanging in the air. Someone was keeping us aloft.
"Why are we floating?!" Zach asked, in panic.
"The pegasi are saying that it wasn't their fault." Percy explained. "Something forced their wings to stop moving."
"Not something," Piper said, "It was someone."
I realized what Piper was trying to say.
"Someone doesn't want us to finish the quest.." I concluded.
"..but, who?" Zach asked confusedly.
Nobody had an answer.
"..and who is keeping us in the air?" Percy asked, annoyed.
The pegasi started to fall again, but this time their wings worked.
They flew under us, ready for us to drop on them. The force that was holding us, let go. We landed on the backs of our pegasi, and started flying again.
"That was completely weird.." Percy stated. I nodded in answer.
This occurance just made me more paranoid than I already was.
We carried on flying.
"How long left?" I asked Percy, after about ten minutes.
"I think we'll be there in ten minutes." He replied.
We had started ascending towards the star, diagonally. I could see the star gradually getting brighter.
"Is that Sirius, the star you all wanted to go to?" Zack asked.
"Yeah," Piper answered. "..but it looks so far away. How on Earth will we reach it?"
"The Mist makes it seem far away, but it's actually really close." Percy explained.
"It must be really strong though, because I can't see through it." I said, frustrated.
"Well, Nyx is a Primordial Goddess, so she probably had no hard time in making the Mist thick and powerful around her Palace." Percy said. He had begun to remind me of Annabeth a lot.
As we got closer to the star, it became brighter and brigher. In three minutes, the brightness became unbearable.
I quickly closed my eyes, in fear of harming them.
After a moment, everything suddenly became dark. I opened my eyes.
There was no light anymore. It was pitch-black.
Instead of seeing a star gradually coming towards us, I saw a magnificent palace.
It was black, and seemed to be made of a type of polished rock. There were slim towers and huge archways.
The silver gates were guarded by winged baby ghosts.
Well, I thought that's what they were.
Two chubby babies with stereotypical angel wings. I could see right through them.
Our pegasi reached the gates of the Palace. The cute babies hurriedly flew over to us.
"Who are you?" The baby on the left asked.
"And what what are you doing here?" The one on the right added.
"We're..-" Percy began.
"I'm the Daughter of Nyx." I quickly interjected. "I'm here to see mother." The babies looked scared.
"Yes ma'am!" They replied, hastily opening the gates.
If the task at hand wasn't so serious, I would've laughed at the way the flying babies moved.
The palace was floating in the sky, so we had to stay on our pegasi. We flew through the gates.
"So, you do all the talking, while the rest of us watch your back in case of an attack." Piper told me.
I nodded. That's what we had decided.
The doors to the Palace were gigantic. Black, lined with gold.
A small sign was hanging down the side of the Palace, near the doors.
It said, in beautiful handwriting:

The Night Sky

I decided to knock on the door. I struck the door three times with my knuckles.
After a moment's silence, a deep voice spoke from behind the doors.
"This is the abode of Nyx. If you wish to enter, you will have to answer one question." The eerie voice stated.
"We wish to enter." Piper replied.
"Very well. Here is your question: What occurs once every minute, twice every moment, yet never in a thousand years?" He asked.
"What kinda question is that?" Zach said to me. I shrugged.
"Great. Annabeth, I really need you right now." Percy mumbled.
I pondered the question.
It's obviously a trick question.. I tell myself. Occurs once every minute, twice ever moment, yet never in a thousand years.. never in a thousand years? ..but that can't be right..
Piper opened her mouth confidently, but hesitated and closed it again.
Percy just looked confused.
I couldn't even tell what was going through Zach's mind.
Suddenly he turned to me and whispered.
"I think I know the answer.." he told me anxiously. He whispered it in my ear and explained his logic behind it.
I began to smile.
The person behind the door probably thinks we don't know the answer.
I clear my throat.
"I think my friend here would like to give the question a try." I explained to the mysterious man behind the door.
Piper and Percy looked puzzled. I nodded in assurance.
"What occurs once every minute, twice every moment, yet never in a thousand years?" The man asked again, in his eerie voice.
"..The letter 'M'" Zach said, hesitantly.
After a long pause, the person finally spoke.
"Correct!" The voice boomed.
The giant doors slowly began to open.
We all stepped inside, expecting someone to be waiting there, but there was no one.
The Palace entrance was a great hall, with great marble pillars and a polished floor.
At the other side of the room, in the middle, was a large flight of stone stairs. Off towards the right and left were smaller spiral stairs, that probably led to the towers.
Inside the palace, it seemed like it was day. Light was flowing through the windows.
"I think it's an illusion.." Percy pondered, pointing at the stain-glass windows.
We decided to follow the main stairs.
Winged ghost babies were flying around, minding their own business.
I tried to stop a few of them, but they compltetly ignored us.
We probably lost an hour, just trying to find the throne room. But we eventually found it.
It was another large set of doors. We knocked.
"Who?" A woman asked. The voice sent a sudden chill down my neck. I shuddered.
I glanced at the others, and they were shivering too.
"...Halyptia Melpomene, dau..-" I began to say, but the doors swung open.

I took in the scene.
It was a magnificent throne room, with a big walkway.
It kind of looked like a church.
Their were renaissance paintings hanging on the walls and seats were fixed on either side of the room.
There was more light shining through the windows.
Two winged babies were at either end of the room, staring at the figure in the centre, who was residing on a huge black throne.
It was Nyx.
I was shocked when I saw her.
She had no colour on her skin, hair and even in her eyes.
She didn't look old, like I expected. She looked like she was in her twenties.
There were two tigers, who laid either side of her. They also had no colour to them.
"I know why you're here." The woman said, after a long pause. She sounded sinister.
"You want me to make an alliance with those grand-children of my wretched sister. But, I'm afraid that won't be happening. I don't usually take 'sides'." Nyx concluded.
"Please! My life depends on this! I'll do anything!" I pleaded, panicking.
"What terrible words to say.." Nyx smirked slightly. "Many Heroes have been destroyed by saying those three words."
"Well, I don't really have anything to lose." I mumbled.
"Hmm.." Nyx said, thinking. "I think it's fair if you do a task for me in exchange?"
I nodded.
"I suppose.." I replied.
I glanced at the others.
Zach and Piper were watching the doors, in case Nyx called a monster in.
Percy kept an eye on the tigers.
"Very well then," Nyx stated. "I need you to bring me the Ceryneian Hind."
"What's that?" I asked, dumbfounded.
"It is an enormous deer, which is sacred to Artemis. It has golden antlers," She replied, smiling happily at the next bit. "..oh, and it is so fast that it can outrun an arrow in flight."
