Hi everyone!
Here you go:

Chapter 54

Halyptia POV

The Golden Drachma disappeared and an image rippled in front of me.
As expected, it was Artemis, but she seemed to be travelling at super speed.
"Artemis!" I called. "It's me! Halyptia!"
Artemis turned towards my voice and her eyes fell upon me.
"How dare you?!" Artemis replied angrily. 
I bagan to panic.
Oh no.. what did I do wrong?
"You dare to even look upon a creature that is sacred to me?!" She yelled. "The Ceryneian Hind is under my protection. You are a fool to try and capture it."
Artemis's form was glowing dangerously bright.
"..but I have to!" I replied hesitantly, in defense. "My life depends on it!"
Artemis looked shocked and even more furious.
"Are you disrespecting me?! Are you intending to disobey me?!"
"It's not like I'm going to kill it! Nyx just wants me to bring it to her." I shot back.
"Creatures must stay free, not captured. You cannot take it to Nyx." Artemis said coldly.
"Look mother, I don't wish to offend you, but is the life of your only daughter not important to you?"
I was trying to play the guilt card.
Artemis looked away, deep in thought. She seemed upset.
"You remind me of Hercules."
I suddenly remembered a vague Ancient History lesson in school. The teacher had said something about Hercules and a bronze hooved deer.
"I won't let the Ceryneian Hind be harmed in any way." I assured quietly.
Artemis nodded sternly.
"..but, be warned Daughter of Essence. If I am somehow disgraced, great misery and misfortune shall befall you. I am letting you go now, but make sure you make wise decisions."
"How will I find the Hind?" I asked confusedly.
Artemis smirked.
"Gold shall reflect moonlight."
And with that, the Iris-Message ended.

When I came back to the campsite, everyone was awake.
Penelope and Piper were sitting by the entrance of a tent, deep in conversation. Zach and Leo were laughing at eachother's stories and grinning mischieviously. Annabeth was sitting under a nearby tree, staring at a laptop which had a Delta sign on it.
I smiled and remembered Camp Half Blood.
Zach was the first to spot me. His eyes widened.
"Halyptia..?" He said, puzzled. "Oh gods, we didn't even realize you were gone! Where were you?"
I didn't mind that they'd forgotten about me but, for some reason, Zach's words stung.
"I Iris-Messaged Artemis." I replied, and I explained what had happened.
"Gold shall reflect moonlight?" Annabeth asked, after I finished.
"Yeah, I'm still not sure what she meant by that.." I said curiously.
But something else was troubling me. Make sure you make wise decisions. Artemis had said.
The Fates had also said something similar. Your success depends on wise choices.
What important decision did I have to make?
