Well my dad has a stash of books and magazines (thats not the interesting part) and we found this book called

WHO'S WHO AMONG AMERICAN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS 1972- 1973


Woah. I felt like i was hit with a tidal wave of hair and glasses. (In other words : OH MY GODS, WHAT ARE THEY WEARING?? Thank goodness there wasnt a picture of my dad hehe )Also, my dad was going to be a dentist. (Me- WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED OF THIS??) He is a head honcho accountant dude and he's in China (I think) right now.


And in his magazine stash, we found issues about phones. Like the age before flip- phones :O


In his books stash, there were some... odd covers/titles.

And a game called Dirty Words. O.o The title says it all. (Don't ask. There's some pretty nasty shtuff inthat little brown box.)

Here's the first chapter: (I have the second one ready, I'll post it in a bit)

Chapter 38

Percy POV

It was morning.
We had made camp near a forest. We could see a town in the distance.
The fight last night was completely unexpected. I kept wondering about who sent the Storm Spirits.
"It was probably someone trying to delay the quest, like Gaia." Piper had said, when I asked her.
The girls seemed to have slept quite well, with there active behaiviour this morning.
I did not sleep well, at all. I kept thinking about the quest, about what the aim was.
All that Piper and I knew about the quest, was that the Olympians gave it to Halyptia. We also knew the Prophecy, but that's it. We had no idea what we were going to face, or why Halyptia needed to do this in the first place. Artemis had said she would explain the details, but she just left without telling us.
Today, I decided to ask Halyptia.

Halyptia's face sank when Piper asked the questions that plagued our minds.
"I was hoping you wouldn't ask, but I knew you were going to." She replied, after a long silence. "First, tell me what the other Campers know about me."
"Uh, they know you're Hestia's daughter. Some think the Olympian's are lying about your parentage, to cover up something, but they don't know what. Someone once suggested you were a goddess that had come to test us!" Piper laughed, "I don't think anyone, but Percy and Annabeth, knows"
"They also know you went missing, but again, they don't know why." Percy added.
"Okay." Halyptia relaxed a bit. "I'll tell you everything."

Halyptia POV

Now that I knew the Campers didn't know much, I knew Piper and Percy didn't tell them. It's not that I didn't trust them, but I didn't want them telling everyone.
Now I knew they wouldn't, so I began to explain everything.

"Zeus kidnapped me, then took me to the Olympian Throne Room. Everyone was there.
He had found out that Gaia made me to bring the Olympians down. So they started to decide what to do with me.
I think they would've killed me, if it had not been for Aphrodite and Hestia. They chose to give me a quest instead, to prove that I wasn't working for Gaia.
Athena came up with an idea for the quest. The idea was, that I would have to convince Nyx to side with the Olympians, if they were ever in need of her assisstance in the future. Zeus liked the idea. So I was sent to camp, to choose two companians." I concluded.
It all felt like a blur.
Percy and Piper looked as confused as ever.
"Oh...." Piper began, "...thats.."
"...yeah.." I said. It was a lot to digest.
"So we're on a quest to meet Nyx?" Percy asked, puzzled. "What's so bad about that?"
"Nyx, goddess of Night, is even more powerful than Gaia. She stays quiet most of the time." I explained. "The Olympians are all scared of her. They can't ask for help, in fear of angering her."
"So they're sending us to be killed instead? They sent you on this quest, because they know you won't succeed?" Percy asked.
I was just angry now. I hated the Olympians. Well, maybe not all of them.
"It doesn't matter, because we will complete this quest. Then they can't do anything." Piper reassured, smiling.
"I couldn't care less." I replied angrily, shocking them. "I know I'll probably end up getting killed, it's all in the Prophecy."
I got up and started to pack everything away.

Piper POV

I looked at Percy.
"Well, that was weird." I declared.
"She's probably just stressed." Percy concluded.
"Yeah, probably." I replied. We began packing up too.

When we finished getting ready. We sat down next to the fire we made last night, to eat our food. There were just glowing embers left.
As we ate the food we had brought from Camp, we realized we were running out.
"We'll buy some food, on our next stop. Let's work out the timings." Halyptia explained. So we planned out the next part of our journey.
Soon, we were ready to leave.
I put on my jacket and climbed onto my pegasus.
As I looked at the sun in the sky, which told me it was a few hours past midday, I remembered my first love.

Chapter 39

Annabeth POV

Suddenly, Rachel stopped laughing.
She started to fall, but I caught quickly.
"Penelope!" I whispered, "Quickly past me that chair!"
We sat her down, and she started to sway. Penelope looked immensley worried.
Then, when Rachel began spewing smoke again, Penelope gave me a questioning look.
"A prophecy?" She asked. I just nodded.
Rachel opened her glowing eyes, and began speaking in that raspy, ancient voice.


"Child saved from death,
A dangerous Fate you shall prevent,
A lie without a breath,
Shall cause murder in content."


I looked towards Penelope, and I could tell she was trying to make sense of it. I was about to say that it was fruitless, when I was cut off.
By the Oracle.


"In the Valley of Life,
One shall see what's left behind,
And through a final sacrifice,
A girl shall unlock her mind."


I was completely shocked.
Rachel collapsed and, as Penelope caught her, I wondered if we heard an extended Prophecy, or two different ones.
I stared at Penelope, as she watched the sky.
She had gotten attacked by Gaia, received help from Apollo, gotten claimed by Poseidon, and possibly received two Prophecies.
Unless they were mine.
I doubted it though.
After a long period of silence, I spoke up.
"Penelope?" I asked.
"Yes?" She replied calmly, still looking at the sky.
"I had actually wanted to bring you here, because I thought Rachel might've had a vision about you or something." I confessed.
"Then, we kinda got more than we bargained for." She smiled kimdly, laughed lightly.
I need to tell Chiron, I thought.
I made sure Rachel was comfortably placed in her bed.
"Come on, Penelope," I said, walking to the entrance of the cave, "We need to tell someone about this."

Chapter 40

Percy POV

We had almost reached Texas.
Blackjack explained to me that the brightest star, Sirius, would be directly above us somewhere in Amarillo.
"That can't be right..." I had said, certain that it couldn't be directly above us.
The Mist is very strong near Sirius, that's why you can't see it, Boss.
"See what?" I asked.
Lady Nyx's Palace! Blackjack stated, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Since when can you see through the Mist?" I asked, frowning.
Us animals aren't affected by the Mist, the Olympians didn't see the point.
"Oh.." I replied. I had never actually thought about that.
"How long left?" I asked him, after a moment.
Around about three hours, Boss.
We had probably been flying for four hours. I think we needed a rest.
"Blackjack, let's stop for a now." I said, and Blackjack told the other pegasi to descend.
"We're stopping for now!" I called to Piper and Halyptia. "Is that okay?!"
Piper gave a thumbs up and Halyptia nodded.
This quest will be easy.

Piper POV

We dropped in a national park.
A sign read "Welcome to Ouachita Park, enjoy your stay!"
Blackjack lead us to Ouachita Lake, which was huge. We touched the ground and, while the pegasi drank from the lake, we decided to go over our 'Convince Nyx' plan.
"So you'll have to talk to Nyx," I told Halyptia, "Since that's what's going to prove your innocence, and Percy and I will make sure nothing messy happens."
"Well, that's it really." She nodded, "What a vague plan..."
"What're you even going to say?" Percy asked, bewildered. "Hi Nyx, my parents are scared of you, will you support them, if war is to ever occur?" He looked frustrated.
"This'll be over soon." I reassured, putting power into my voice, "Everything will work out fine."
I hope.
Halyptia was fuming.
"Uh, did I say something wrong?" I asked her nervously. She just shook her head.
"I just..-"
"I know," Percy said, cutting her off. "It's difficult right now. You probably hate them with every molecule of your body. Even I used to hate them in the beginning. They accused me, of stealing the Master Bolt, without proof! I was furious. But, in the end they're our family, and family learns to forgive and forget."
"Wow." I spoke up, "You actually sound like Annabeth." I laughed.
Percy pretended to be surprised,
"That was 100% Percy Jackson!" He defended.
Halyptia burst into a fit of giggles and Percy cracked up too.
We'll be fine.

Halyptia POV

Percy's words touched me.
As I laughed, I thought about what he said. Family was about forgiving and forgetting.
I will do precisley that, I thought with determination.
But, then something made me remember the story of Harmonia. How Aphrodite betrayed her husband. How Hephaestus didn't forgive Aphrodite, and he cursed her daughter. How, up till today, his curse affected the lives of so many.
I felt infuriated again. I didn't know what to do.
Just finish this quest, I told myself, Then I'll decide what to do next.
