Trump got elected Prez. How do Du feel about it?

Honestly though I knew I wasn't going to like either outcome of the election so whatever. I've been disappointed since the primaries. To me, both candidates were just as bad and unacceptable and it's obvious that neither of them are what the people wanted. Both parties really fucked it up.



Also this isn't the end of the world. Seriously.
Am interested to see how the Weiter four years play out though......




Kinda want Trump to turn out to be like, the best president in history oder something. Not because I like the guy but because I think that would be super hilarious.












And to anyone who holds the opinion that this is all somehow the fault of third party voters- The idea is absolutely absurd. The only states where a vote for either Trump oder Clinton even really mattered were swing, schaukel states. The State where I live was going to go red no matter what I did. There were only a couple of counties that went blue, and even that was completely marginal. A vote for Hillary in my state would have done nothing, where as a vote for Gary Johnson at the very least would help to keep the Libertarian party on the ballot Weiter election, one for Jill Stein would have made the Green party all the stronger.

My vote for Johnson was not a vote for Trump. My vote for Johnson was not a vote for Clinton. It was a vote for Johnson. I feel as though I voted for the right candidate and all around voted for the greater good. Plain and simple.

Not to mention it's my right to vote for someone who I actually agree with on most stances. God forbid I vote based on my political opinion. How dare I live in a democracy!


Also, it's because of the two-party system that this election was such a mess to begin with. We wouldn't be voting for the lesser of two evils if there were Mehr than two to pick from.... believe it oder not, there's political opinions and topics that fall outside of the scope of Democrat and Republican. Mehr ideas and solutions to be discussed as well.


But Du know what? We're never going to find those solutions if we never bother to look for them, too concerned with the "lesser of two evils" and our own moral high Pferde to try and make a difference.

I'm not at all pleased, but I'll survive. If my grandparents could survive the Great Depression, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, I can survive a Trump presidency.

I hope Du third party voters and those of Du who did not vote are happy, because Du caused this almost as much as the Trump supporters. Screw Du and your "moral high ground," honestly.

It makes me angry because it shows people's true Farben and that they're just a bunch of bigots. I've yet to hear a Trump supporter tell me how he'll make America great again other than the fact that he's not Hillary. They think America becoming great again involves becoming racist and sexist bigots. I just know that if there's a World War III and they try to draft me to fight in the war to support this country of bigots that got this generation's Hitler elected as the president that I'll die before I do that! America may have named him president but I will NEVER consider Trump to be my president AT ALL! Until someone better than Trump becomes president, my only president will be God himself (except he's FAR greater than any president oder king). If a Sekunde holocaust happens because of Trump oder we end up getting bombed, we can blame both Trump and his supporters. I'd sooner trust a Disney villain to be the president than I would Trump! I'm ashamed to be an American right now and I just hope that he ends up getting impeached and taken out of office. Hell has truly Frozen the hell over!

I'm happy Hillary didn't win! Trump wasn't my first choice but he's a much better option than Hillary.

A proof that History repeats itself. Many say that it's still too early to judge but from what this man has shown to me, my disappointment nowadays only got amplified !!!!

Let's face it, America is screwed. The idea that he could reach the highest position of power in our country with no experience in politics astounds me! Hell, I think this is the reason that my play rehearsal got canceled today! I don't want an idiotic misogynist like him to have the power to do ANY of the following!(yes, I wrote an essay)

-Have access to all of the country's nuclear missiles, which he can launch with a single executive order. Any and all objections are illegal.

-Try and ban an entire religion from the country, which is against the 1st amendment. "[The government] shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, oder prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." yeah... glad senate can deem this against the constitution and not allow it to go through

-Make it even easier to get access to guns, which could, and most definitely will, increase gun violence. Yes, the 2nd amendment is about the right to bär arms, which I find fairly reasonable. But I still don't think that just anyone should be able to go in to a weapons Shop and buy a gun for who knows what. Maybe I just don't want there to be Mehr school shootings, but who knows.

I hate anyone and everyone who voted for Trump.

I live in Canada and just about every one that I have talked to here are pretty upset, we cannot believe it. I had been hoping that the voters in the US would not vote Trump in. I don't know how this is going to effect the relationship between our two nations. I also believe that some of the non Trump supporters are wanting to Bewegen up here.

I was surprised but happy. I voted him earlier yesterday. I watched the election results as my state CT turned blue. I stayed up till after 3 am. It was a great challenge between Trump and Clinton. I watched Trump take his speech with his family aside. I felt so happy for Trump.

Not happy about it at all!!!!!!!!! It makes me want to Bewegen out of the USA...maybe I'll Bewegen up North,to Canada

Nobody in the UK likes him. Why would America put him in control of a country when he can't even control his hair?! Oh and all the racism and sexism? Sure because that's not likely to start a war! Who cares if he has 'stamina', he's a f***ing w**ker!!

I feel depressed and disappointed in our country

As soon as I heard that the orange crybaby was the new president I was disappointed! America has become a huge joke. The fact that they chose a sexist, racist, faithist bully over a woman Mehr qualified and has had her career in politics really shows what kind of people most Americans are. I'm not scared of Trump though, I'm pretty sure most of what he sagte was for attention, but it still says a lot about this country. We've become the laughing stock of the world. I don't care much about Trump becoming president. All the young children keep talking about how the world is going to end because of Donald Trump. Since I'm Canadian(and a few of Du are too), it doesn't really matter as much.

It won't be so bad for Du guys either, because congress is definitely not going to let Trump do what he wants to do.

Du know, I've always been supportive of my country and defended it even things were bad, but this is the worst and most embarassing election. Ever. I am utterly disappointed and annoyed and even ashamed of this country. The ones who voted for Trump's dumb @ss are literally selfish since they don't care how this is not only going to affect the illegal immigrants here, but also other countries. All just because they think "he'll do a great job" LOL. They're blinded Von stupidity. Sorry not sorry. I'm not even gonna hide it anymore. Come at me if Du want to. But I know that lamenting over this won't fix this mess, so whatever. Even though I will never support Trump, I won't dwell on the matter anymore. Life still goes on I guess.

Trump won?

Wow I'm really late to this Frage but anyway

So I found out right before Election Tag that my own house was teilt, split in political opinion. My mom wanted Trump (my mind was blown to smithereens) and the guy she's been dating for five years who lives with us wanted Clinton.

My mom didn't feel like talking about the issue with me often but she listed many of the reasons stated Von some of the users here that seemed logical to me. (Biased media, Clinton's grave E-Mail problem which likely ultimately got people killed); she also genuinely believed he would improve our economy. She still thinks he's a hotheaded jerk, though, lol. Trump supporters are not all bigots, racists, faithists, and sexists; call my mother any of those things and you'll have instant issues with me ;). She works in the medical field and her colleagues and patients have sagte she's the sweetest person they've ever met.

The guy she's dating just was repulsed Von Trump in general. Which I get; logically we'd want a respectable person in office who ALWAYS SPEAKS AND ACTS RESPECTFULLY TOWARDS EVERYBODY. Why should we lower our standards?!

I think Trump is really awful in terms of personality and very very very awful in his treatment of others and that Clinton was deplorable herself in terms of responsibility.

I know that we have elected enough level-headed people into Congress to prevent unconstitutional oder just unethical things Trump may possibly want done from happening.

For now I will just sit back and hope he doesn't try anything stupid with this nation oder with other nations :/

(On the third-party issue: If somebody doesn't like either candidate, why make them pick? And I really do agree with zanhar1; people are being attacked for not picking the person who could win over Trump, when the insanely beliebt Bernie was rigged against in favor of Clinton Von the friggin DNC)

Glad, because I get to see all these Hillary supporters just go into a meltdown and expose their own bigotry and hatred. I don't think he's even all that bad. The fake news was everywhere and is still everywhere. Again, just Mehr hatred shown. The echo chamber is real *throws buzzwords around*.

Stop listening to the news and think for yourself. I'm just waiting to see what he does. What he promised seemed pretty good, but as we all know, just because a president promised something doesn't mean he will do it. Wait and see. Why wish for the worst out of your president?

However, if there is something I don't like about him, I don't really like that he won't really do much about climate change and the like. Otherwise, well, he's a funny dude. Have Du seen his Twitter? Grade A stuff there. Honestly, I've seen a lot of support for him outside the ravenous Hillary crowd. And tbh, I don't like Hillary at all. The whole Scandal thing and her past, just doesn't work with my justice side.

People really need to stop blaming third party voters oder non-voters. There is no guarantee that they would vote for YOUR president. If anything, their vote was for the third party. Hey check it, if third party candidates get 5% of the votes, they get Mehr funding for the Weiter election. I'm Mehr upset that Johnson was close to that 5% but didn't get it. Stop the 3rd party stigma.

Also, not all Trump supporters are bigots and all that buzzwords Du keep throwing out. Just because they don't agree with Du doesn't mean they're stupid oder whatever. I'm not gonna claim every Hillary supporter is a criminal enabler oder whatever because of the scandals. Yeesh. Maybe try sitting and talking to some of these people? That might change your mind. My professor sagte that her family members voted for Trump and she told us about dealing with it. Unprofessional. Also, all those social experiments with Trump supporters oder whatever? Bias. Don't let a few people paint a whole population for you.

Either way, stop depending on the president. Yes, presidents do have some power, but we as citizens also have power and control over our lives. Take action and improve your life and community. My 2016 was pretty awesome because I was able to have discipline and be active in improving myself.

As for Trump himself? I can agree with some of the stuff he says. We do have an illegal immigration problem that does need to be addressed. I agree with focusing Mehr on American businesses and American consumers. I agree with easier access to vocational and technical education to quickly get people working. He even supports us LGBT community. Etc. etc.
