Note: I usually wouldn't bother to post an Artikel that's so short, but seeing as tomorrow is Easter, I thought it might be fun to post the 200-word double-drabble I wrote on Easter last year. I hope you'll enjoy it, and if you've read it before, feel free to enjoy it again.

63.) April 4, 2010: "The Easter Egg"

"Eh, would Du mind telling me what kind of bird laid this fancy-looking egg?" Julien asked as he walked into the penguins' HQ, carrying a blue egg with green stripes and red polka dots. "Or have the sky spirits finally rewarded me with J.J. II?"

"Hey, that's mine," Skipper stated as he took the egg from Julien.

"Really?" Julien asked, puzzled. "I've always thought Du were a guy. But congratulations nonetheless."

"I am a guy, ring-tail!" Skipper corrected. "It's not mine, mine, and besides, this egg is made of plastic. But I did hide it."

"Hide it?" Julien asked. "But why?"

"Well, today's Easter," Skipper replied. "Haven't Du ever heard of an Easter egg hunt?"

"Oh, yes," Julien replied. "The silly humans hide eggs and have children find them. Sometimes the eggs are even filled with chocolate."

Julien then looked at the egg in Skipper's flippers and snatched it back.

"So, what's inside of this one?" he asked as he began to pull it open.

"You fool!" Skipper shouted. "That one's packed with C-4!"

"What?" Julien exclaimed as he tossed the egg back to Skipper.

"Chocolate is outdated," Skipper replied. "We penguins give each other real gifts for the holidays."

    Kowalski felt as if he were floating in space. Probably because he was tied and hanging upside down from a hook on the ceiling. The blood had all rushed to his head, making his reactions slow and dazed. Waking up from his unconscious dreams, Kowalski made out a blurry figure, in the shape of a dolphin.

Marlene: No.
Kowalski: NASA chose me to go on the trip to Mars?

Rico: Buttons!
Marlene: I wish! but nope. Actually its-
Skipper: Your birthday.

Marlene: Yes! I'm sooo glad Du remembered!
Skipper: Of course I did. Unlike these knuckle-heads.

Kowalski: Umm, I had a lot in my mind lately...
Private: I was visiting Barry this week...
Rico: Heheheh...

Marlene: Right....Well I'll go now! I gotta clean my habitat for tomorrow!

Private: Not that this taco doesn't look good, but that chunky bulette, fleischklöschen, frikadelle of hot sauce and soggy taco shell is kind of ruining my appetite.
Kowalski: Du sagte it. That is rather repulsive and nauseating. (gags with disgust)
Suddenly the taco jolts and flops out of the tray, leaving a soggy puddle on the once-clean table.
Private: AH! The taco moved. Did Du see that? Skipper's taco flopped onto the table!
Kowalski: That is proposterous. Tacos aren't alive, and they don't walk.
Private: It moved!
Rico hacks up a crowbar.
Private: I don't need to be put out of my misery. I am telling you. It's alive....

There is a price to pay when it comes to “love.”

If anyone knows that, it’s me. No one truly knows how hard my job is. They think I make it look so easy. That’s because I have to bury my emotions to make the hard decisions. I have to feel nothing. I can’t cry, I can’t feel pain, and I most definitely can not let my anger alter my judgement.

Today, I Lost two good soldiers. Manfredi and Johnson, my brothers in arms. And I hold myself accountable.

He was finding it increasingly hard to breathe, and the interior seemed to be growing smaller Von the minute. "Dexter," he breathed out.

"Why the duce did Du wake me up SO early?" he asked, slipping out of bed. Sky grinned sheepishly, pulled out the back up calendar and pointed to the date. 'March 31st - April 7th, Prank Week' thought Skipper flatly. "Alright, I'm up. So what's the pranking agenda of the day?" quieried Skipper as he raised a nonexistent eyebrow.

The clock read 2027 hours. Just four hours and thirty-three Minuten until October 31st, Halloween. The zoo was scheduled to be open for only half a Tag tomorrow. Children would come in little ghost, ghoul, and goblin costumes, poised to scare the living daylights out of the passerby's.

"Alright boys. What did we talk about?" Skipper asked his team in the HQ.
