I would recomend Kaichou wa Maid-sama for you.
It's got that big romantic comedy thing. Lots of people like it.

Angel – Jäger der Finsternis Beats!, oder Rozen Maiden.
Course Rozen Maiden is Mehr serious than funny...

Fruits basket. The Manga has Mehr romance than the Anime but the Anime goes into further details.

Shuffle! May have some perverted parts but it is amazing.

Vampire Knight. Has some funny parts to it and contains some dark themes

Mermaid Melody I recommend. But then, I'm sooooooo addicted...

It's about Mermaid Princesses who sing to save the world and let true friendship prevail and forbidden Liebe between human and mermaid. Very funny. Highly recommend.
