Du look up in awe as your guardian tells Du stories of Heroes with capes and powers no normal human can have. The good they do to be awarded Liebe and respect, to earn the fear in their enemies, and to feel the weight of the world on them.

Du wish so badly to become a hero like those, to have powers and to save lives. Not a thought fills your head about the powers already developing in your young body, no trace of an idea of the destruction oder construction they will bring to the fragile world around you.

Your young eyes narrow as your guardian pats your head and kisses Du before heading to bett and telling Du to do the same. Du begin to protest bu your guardian picks Du up and carries Du to your bed.

Filled with excitement Du can't sleep, Du beg for another story, but are rejected with a KISS again and a hug before being put to rest. Slumber doesn't come easy. Du get up and look out the window.

A shooting-star.

Du heard of stories where princesses oder princes wished upon stars and got what they wanted. But Du where neither of those things. Du where you. A growl escapes your lips but Du look up at the sky and wish so hard to meet a superhero.

Fate has a different path for you.

Du open your eyes and hiss as nothing is different. Suddenly the powers, that have been cooped up for so long, are released. A glossy gaze fills your eyes as Du realized what just happened. Staring at your hands Du don't understand... but you. Less than ordinary you, extraordinary you.

Du can't understand, you're too young to even comprehend, that you'll have to kill people and save people for yourself and Du know Du will live a life of doubt, love, evil, good, you'll leave loved ones, make friends, watch them die.. Will Du be a hero? A villain? Du have no idea but that's up to fate to decide on what path Du follow.
