She was outfitted in a tight, white, short hospital gown. She growled and unfolded her wings, puffing them out to intimidate. She growled deeper and louder.
"Dont be frightened." sagte a woman. Mel whipped around, but all she saw were the white walls.
"I am Dr. Wick, head of The Final Exam." She said, her loctation was still unknown to Mel. Dr. Wick was in a control room above the arena. Mel tucked in her wings,
"Final Exam....." She thought. She paused as the white arena turned into a rainforest.

She narrowed her eyes. It was like she was in the rainforest, everything, sounded, looked, and felt, like it. She didnt have time to think as a jaguar lunged at her. She flicked her wings out and shot into the air, dodging the jaguar. She blured, dodging the vines and branches. She tried to fly above the canopy, but she hit the edge of the dome. She tucked in her wings and dove. She caught a branch with her legs and swung, flinging herself into the air and grabing another with her already bruised hands. She screamed in pain as teeth sunk into her arm. She pulled a sword with her free hand, clinging to the branch with her legs. She slashed at the jaguar, and it released her arm. She unfolded her wings and blured in the other direction, loosing the jaguar, she didnt know where she was going, but she flew faster, away from the cat. She landed. She looked down at the boa constricter slithering up her leg, her eyes widened.

One of Mel's wings were caught in a mess of vines. Her eyes widened as teeth sunk into her wing. She screamed and jerked her wing out of the disheveled vines, knocking the bengal tiger off of her wing. She tucked in her wings and ran as fast as she could. Dirt on her face, scratches on her arms, rips in her hospital gown.....

Mel ran as fast as she could, unsure of where, but she went on instinct and adrenaline. The heavily wooded forest not helping her escape. She didnt look back at the flaming building, she was just running for her life. She ingored the burning pain on her wing. She smelled her raw flesh burning. She taube into a river, the flames extinguishing on her wing. Her eyes widened, she swam to the surface, she saw almost twenty men in labcoats. She let her head fall in surender. They grabbed her Von her wings, arms, and waist. They werent gentle. She let out a small yelp. As they loosened their grip, not taking her as a threat, slipped out of their grasp and ran. She was chased from the air. A helicopter chasing her, bullets firing at her.... she ran towards the cave. Ingoring every pain.....

She walked in zeta, her wing hanging in a painfull angle. She looked at the sleeping boy on the couch. She dragged her feet over to the couch. She dropped to fet knees, and rested her arm across his chest. Fang opened his eyes and scrambled up, knocking Mel's arm off of him, and her arm hit the ground.
"Mel!" He shouted. She only let her head fall, breathing heavily.
Ten Minuten later...
Mel snuggled into the covers, on her side, her wings sore. Fang layed on the other side, watching Mel. As she fell asleep, Fang did aswell.
