"Lets go to club!" Alice chimed. I stared at her for a Minute - was she crazy? It's only two days since Volturi arrival! Of course now that I learned to control my abilities everyone was much happier but still...
"C'mon, Lilly, don't look at me with such expression, it'll be awesome!" she hugged me but my expression didn't change.
"Are Du sure it's a good idea?" Bella also seemed uncertain.
"I'm always sure" she released me and I started doubting if we can avoid it. "I'm going to prepare, let's meet in living room after an hour, no, wait, it'll be better after two" and gracefully climbed upstairs. I sighed and gave Bella nervous look. She only nodded.
"Bella?" Alice's head appeared in a doorway "Can Du invite some werewolves?"
"Are Du really sure?" Bella looked confused but Alice made a grimace and it was all that needed to convince her.
I grabbed some books, searchlight and tried to hide in the closet - I knew it was childish but I wasn't in a mood for noisy club. I spent there about half an Stunde (very calm and relaxing half an hour) until Alice opened the door.
"Do Du know I can find Du in 2 seconds?" damn, why vampire senses are so sharp? I got off the closet and noticed something shiny on Alice's hand. I needed few Sekunden to realize it was glossy green blouse. She followed my gaze and lifted it playfully.
"It's for you, do Du like it?" I stood Frozen - this even wasn't a bluse - it was short dress and unlike other Alice's dress which were subtle and elegant, this one was extravagant and really too short. "Of course, don't forget some playful accessories, then add make-up and suitable hairstyle... Lilly?" she finally noticed me barricading myself in a closet. "Lilly? What are Du doing?"
"I'm not going anywhere. And especially in that tiny piece of fabric"
"Did I mention Embry is going?" she wasn't playing nice and for a Sekunde I imagined us together in a club. But then I remembered Alice's intentions and protested.
"Well, I don't care. I'm not coming. Period"
"Lilly... I tried so hard for you. I had enough pressure these days and all I want is to have a little bit fun. Am I asking too much?" she sounded like she's gonna cry but I already knew her well.
"Then I wish Du to have fun tonight. Without me."
"That's it. I really like this closet but if I have to destroy it in order to get Du out I'll do it"
"I sagte - I'm not going" I wish she wasn't serious. Apparently there's nothing Alice couldn't do to bring me to that club cause in a Minute I was being dragged to her bathroom. While she intensively tried to make me look like usual visitor of night clubs, I almost used my shield against her. Why she didn't listen to a word I was saying to her? I closed my eyes when she applied shades. I must admit that if I had been 16 I would have loved everything she was forcing me to do now: bright make-up, interesting and unique dress, club and dancing... But I hadn't been in club to have fun in ages. I visited them occasionally on raids to arrest some dealers, but that's it. And what's the worst is that Embry will be there. I didn't want him to see me and get the wrong idea. I wasn't very lively person.
"I'm done" Alice announced joyfully. I opened my eyes and looked at the mirror - WOW! I hardly could recognize the reflection.
"Do Du like it?" no way I'm admitting I like it.
"It's not my style. And I still don't want to go anywhere" I muttered.
"You're even Mehr stubborn than Rosalie"
"Thank you"
When we got to NY (I was in a car with Bella, Rosalie, Emmett and Edward whose driving made me nauseous) I was surprised that she picked the club there. As the car was parked I saw Seth and Embry.
"Hi" he greeted me shyly and I almost blushed. The club Alice chose was big, chic and beliebt - there was a huge row of people waiting to get in there. Alice gave the bodyguard a bundle of cash and in a Sekunde we were in. I loved the Musik DJ was playing and my feet longed for dancefloor.
"A drink?" Embry offered. I stopped drinking 9 years Vor but if I stay with Alice I might be involved in another plan "How to have fun" of hers.
"Sure" I followed him to the bar.
"What would Du like?" he asked and I wavered. "Maybe Cosmopolitan?"
"Yeah, Cosmopolitan would be great" it was stupid but I wanted to please him.
We found a tabelle and started conversation. I was so rapt Von it that I easily agreed on another cocktail, then another one... Soon we were dancing in the middle of the dancefloor paying no attention to anything else. I felt the heat radiating from his body and his hot breathing... The last thing I remember was his soft lips.
Weiter morning was a disaster. I had a terrible headache and most important - I have no idea what I had done yesterday. I rolled in the bett but finally decided to get up and ask Carlisle for some aspirin. When I went to living room Emmett, Jacob and Jasper started clapping and whistling.
"What is it now?" I mumbled and suddenly Alice was in front of me.
"You'll have to teach me"
"Teach Du what?"
"How to dance" she sagte in a tone like I wouldn't understand an obvious thing "You danced like crazy yesterday, your moves was awesome! It's like Du didn't have some bones. Whole club was admiring you!"
"And it looked like Du admired someone too" Emmett giggled. Please tell me they didn't saw it.
"I guess it won't be so hard for Embry to act" Jacob laughed.
"OK, I've had enough. I'm going upstairs and I really hope no one will disturb me" I gazed at Emmett angrily. No one sagte a word which actually was some kind of relief. I climbed into bett and hid my head under the blanket.
"Lilly?" Alice whispered. The end of my relief.
"Go away"
"Please, Lilly, it's important" I noticed that her tone changed into serious.
"What's wrong?"
"Can Du help me to see a vision? Du sagte Du can strengthen powers - can Du do the same with mine?"
"I'll try" and I concentrated on her. She gasped and I opened one eye to check on her - yep, she was in trance. We stayed like this for a couple Minuten until she saw everything she needed.
"So?"
"The good oder a bad news first?"
"The bad ones"
"Someone is gonna die"
