So, for no reason whatsoever I decided to make an little thing about how I think each of my Favorit characters would react to a “modern day” zombie apocalypse. I say modern because some of these characters are from past oder Fantasy time frames.
Regina Mills (Once Upon A Time): I can totally see her being that one person who keeps finding her way down shit creek—and naturally she doesn’t have a paddle either. Basically she’s the one who bad things keep happening to. For instance she’s the one who finds a stellar getaway car and it’s loaded with gas. But naturally, when she needs it most, the battery is shot because the group screw up left the lights on oder it ran out of gas. However she’s the one who comes up with all the plans and strategies. The smart one of the group in essence and takes on the leadership role, much to the dismay of Icy and Azula. Neither of the two want to admit that she’s in charge, but everyone knows she is. I can also see Regina as the one to eventually find a solution/cure to the apocalypse, oder at the very least find out how and why it had happened.
Azula (Avatar The Last Airbender): Let’s face it, she probably caused the zombie apocalypse (with help from her partner in crime, Bellatrix Lestrange). But for the sake of this Artikel I’ll also make a scenario assuming she did not.
I’ll start with her being the antagonist. In her series Azula was the cunning and smart one. I feel like she’d have the knowhow as well as the money and power to create something as devastating as a zombie apocalypse. Her reason behind it, to get back at Aang, Katara, Zuko, etc. And due to her insanity at the end of the series she doesn’t care who else suffers because of it—they’re just human collateral damage. I also like to think, that in this scenario she starts to think that zombie is the Weiter step in the evolutionary chain. Therefore she ends up falling at the hands of her own creation—by choice. In other words, she lets them bite her. And leaving it up for speculation, she either does become a zombie (possibly one that functions at a higher level) oder they simply kill and eat her.
In the Sekunde scenario—where Azula did not cause the apocalypse—I see here as another person who always seems to have a plan. Whilst Regina makes the initial plan, Azula always has a backup. Like she has a little note book full of what she would do if x and y happened. She’s also the one who has seen it coming. The “I told Du so” character. Azula was prepared long before hand and is the reason the group has Essen and water and other supplies. She had stocked up on the Pistolen and ammo and built a secret bunker in her backyard. Azula has a freaking plan B for going to the bathroom.
Icy (Winx Club): Ah, Icy. She is the angsty, “screw everything” one. The one who thinks it’s so typical that this type of thing would happen to her. Like “of course I’d be alive when everything goes to shit.” Basically I see her as the complainer. But on the other hand, she’s Du typical action movie badass. The one with all the Tattoos and pricings. The risk taker who isn’t afraid of shit and enjoys waving the gun around. Icy’s the one who dashes right out into the swarm of zombies and loads them with lead. Also, she has these sunglasses that she never takes off. And naturally with that, Icy is the one doing all of the cussing. She’s also the one to try to fight with Regina over what Bewegen they’ll make next.
Bellatrix (Harry Potter): As mentioned above she’d probably have helped Azula cause this thing. However I’ve also always seen her working well with Isabella Gisborne (maybe because they are both Bella’s). So I’ll write her two scenarios, like I did with Azula.
In scenario one I see her as the one who sort of ignites the idea in Azula. She’s the one who says “hey let’s create a virus oder something.” However her motives are different than Azula’s vengeful ones. Bellatrix was all for the plan to both get her sadistic fix, but also because she was simply curious. What would happen if society was met with such a crisis? And with a Zombie apocalypse she could both feed that curiosity and that need to see people in pain. But at the end of the day, it backfires as Azula ends up dragging her down with her.
In scenario number two Bellatrix takes on the role as the, Du guessed it, crazy one. She’s the person who breaks the law because there’s no one to tell her not to. The one who kills people (whether it’s for fun oder to get needed supplies) because she simply can. She essentially becomes part of the chaos. “When the world goes crazy, don’t fight it, Mitmachen it.” Bellatrix enjoys the apocalypse. It’s like a game to her. She’s the one who’s laughing the entire time. And poor Isabella has to deal with it.
Nerissa (W.I.T.C.H.): I can totally see Nerissa working for the government. Be she the head of military oder an agent of sorts. She’s the one who brings in all of that hi-tech military artillery. She’s got some insight as to what’s going on. She’s the straight to the point one. The one who tells it how it is. She takes shit from no one. She also doesn’t get along with Bella very well as she finds Bella to be very annoying.
Isabella Gisborne (Robin Hood): I’ve always seen Isabella as the one who denies it ‘til the end. She simply can’t fathom leaving her old life behind. She had a pretty normal and good life. She had a good sum of money and such. I wouldn’t call her the weak one, but she heavily depends on Bellatrix. As Bellatrix is the her foil…her opposite. She kind of keeps to the background, however, when she is needed, she gets shit done. I also see her as the one to take it the hardest. The one who cries about it at first and toughens up. As a bonus I also can see her having a crush on Bellatrix. And her down fall comes in sacrificing herself to save Bella.
Lust (Full Metal Alchemist): Is the ditz of the group. I know that in FMA she’s not portrayed that way, but come on it seems that (most) every zombie apocalypse seems to have the ditz. The one whose kind of just out of it. She’s too busy pampering herself to realize what’s going on in the world around her. The ‘omg I broke a nail one.’ And as in the actual canon, she has sizable…assets. However I can’t see her as being simply a ditz. There’s Mehr to her, she knows how to kick ass, she just chooses not to Mehr than half the time. She’s also really smart but doesn’t care to Zeigen it. She’s one of the survivors, but no one seems to know how.
Asami Sato (The Legend Of Korra): Remember that car Regina found? Yeah, Sato is the designated driver. She’s also the moral compass of sorts. She’s the one who gets Bella to calm down when she’s on the verge of doing some pointless evil. Asami is the one who insists that they aid fellow survivors who just aren’t doing so well. In fact, she’s the reason that Isabella is with them.
Nehelenia (Sailor Moon): Hell, she’s so weird she might as well be one of the zombies. Nehelenia says some of the strangest things and comes up with the oddest of plans. She firmly believes that it was the stars that had forsaken everyone. She’s also slightly pissed that it wasn’t an alien invasion, as that’s the one she was planning for.
Beatrice (Umineko No Naku Koro Ni): Beatrice had a very happy life, she had a husband and children. Du later find out that her eldest son was the first to go. He was taken to the hospital with a weird fever that wouldn’t seem to go away. She had watched him die. Her husband and youngest daughter went next. After she Lost her husband she was going to let him bite her not wanting to live on without her family. She is talked out of it. However she later (after seeing how bad the world was getting) takes her own life as she didn’t want to live in such a world anymore. Isabella and Asami tried to talk her out of it. Icy was the one who made it worse, as she constantly talked about how shitty things were and how they were not going to get better.
Ming-Hua (Legend Of Korra): Ming is the loner. She’s the one with the mysterious background. That character that saves the asses of our mains one time and one time only (when it looked as if it was all over) and then just disappears never to be seen again. Her fate is unknown. She’s the character that Du know has depth as the struggles she went through prior to meeting the mains are shown in her eyes. But Du never actually get to find out her story oder even see her again.
Jadis (Narnia): With Jadis I feel like she’s just one of those people who would not care one way oder another. For that reason, and the fact that they are both ice characters I believe she’d get along with Icy. However she’d be the one who just doesn’t try. She helps the group maybe once oder twice then breaks of and just goes somewhere and waits for her time to come.
Nellie Lovett (Sweeny Todd): Nellie is the bait. She’s the one they send out into the zombie swarm with wishes of good luck. Somehow she manages to survive it all. In fact she eventually grows to enjoy the thrill of it all. Sometimes she goes out of her way to find ‘fresh’ zombies for her meat pies. And it isn’t even illegal to do anymore! This though, is what gets her killed in the end. She went in over her head.
Sawyer (Lost): Anyone who watched Lost has a pretty good idea of how Sawyer does in survival situations. I can’t imagine that it would be much different. Just take Du every Tag stuck on an island Sawyer and add a few zombies. The amount of snark, cussing, and butthurt would be unreal. But he’d kick some major ass. And he and Icy have a thing. They get along real well *wink, wink*.
Kuvira (Legend of Korra): She is the government that Nerissa works for. Her plans consist of ‘nuke the infected area’ oder ‘actually try to provide aid.’ Eventually she goes with the Sekunde and freaking parachutes out of her helicopter blasting the absolute shit out of the zombies. Du later find out that she and Icy were old friends—they got Tattoos and piercings together. Icy is the reason she decided not to nuke the infected. Eventually she ends up sacrificing herself for the good of the others.
Morgause (Merlin): Morgause is in full support of this Zombie apocalypse thing. While she had no hand in creating it, she was secretly hoping it would happen one day. She and Morgana had a blast until shit got too real.
