Why do Du think Perry is blue?

I think Perry is bule and other platypuses are brown because bule is a cool color than brown and Perry is way kühler than other playtpuse. So he desevers to be blue.

Ehem, do Du not watch the show? He is TEAL, and the creators did not want a normal animal to be in their show. They decided to make him a platypus with a different shade of color that is original. HE'S A CARTOON CHARACTER, GET OVER IT.

not always....1 mantel color is brown, 1 is black, there's gray, smokey, and there's blue and dark blue. however, just like on cats, when a mantel is blue it means blue-gray. a smokey mantel is a dark blue-gray only Mehr gray. (just like on Smokey Egyptian Maus. see pic below 4 Smokey)
Cartooning is all about exageration....
on another note, Perry is Mehr of a blue-green, teal, knickente, blaugrün kinda color

As Du may have noticed, most platipi are brown. Perry is blue because his mother platypus was abducted Von Heinz Doofenschmirtz for lab testing. Unfortunately, Perry's mother passed & Doofenschmirtz saw young Perry as a weak platypus not suitable for testing, due to the chemicals changing his skin color. With no use for Perry, he was then thrown out and found Von an animal shelter, later adopted Von Phineas & Ferb. The chemicals in his brain explain why he develops a hate for Doofenschmirtz & how he learns his agent skills so quickly.

Also it's a cartoon for kids, & the creatirs wanted him to be blue so he became blue

I think he's blue because of the Essen he's eating. I mean, there's not really any "platypus food", right?
