POM - Let Go

I sighed in the darkness of the small, wooden crate. A sudden jerk from the truck made me bang my head on the side of the crate. I groaned in annoyance, but remembered my promise and sighed again. Maybe this hadn't been such a good idea, but I knew I had to, and I wasn't backing out now.

It had been 'The Day'. My goodbye party had looked Mehr like a funeral in my old home, the otter habitat in the California Aquarium. My wooden kiste had been waiting for me at the side of the habitat, and I had been staring into it.

"Are Du sure?" My mother, Helen, who was standing right beside me, had sniffed....

Penguins of Madagascar

It was lazy afternoon for the penguins. Nothing special was happening today, it was actually really boring. Kowalski was in the lab concocting, Rico was Lesen a weekly magazine known as "Gorgeous Explosions!" Private was watching some reality Zeigen on Nickelodeon, and Skipper was relaxing in his bunk.

Somewhere in the sea, 1994.

"Hey, David!", a man shouted. "Are Du OK?"
"It's kinda cold here", David answered. "But I'm fine!". David was half spy, half soldier. He was in a very dangerous mission. A mission in the weirdest part of the sea, the Bermuda Triangle.
"Are Du sure Du want to do this?"
"Affirmative, Alfred."
"You will swim toward death!"
"No with the lost treasure", he looked at the map. "With it, I can do anything!"
"Ow, David. You're very stubborn at times. Your son too."
"I just hope that he don't follow my example", David laughed and dived into the water. "It'll be okay", he thought....

In the HQ, the Penguins pack up all their stuff. Yup! They are going to spend a Week in the Himalayan Mountains. A perfect Vacation place, isn’t it?

Private: "Can Julien come with us?"
Skipper: "Negative! It’s a Classified Vacation Spot, Soldier! Besides, Lemurs can’t stand the bitter cold."
Private: "I've always wanted to climb the Mount Everest."
Kowalski: "In the Language of Sanskrit, ‘Himalaya’ means ‘Abode of snow’!"
Rico: "Huh?"
Private: [Thrilled] "How do Du know all these, Kowalski?"
Kowalski: "Just… did some research before choosing a Vacation Spot!"
Skipper: "We leave tomorrow...

"Alright men, gather around, we will send someone in this group out to do our monthly rolecheck, we will start with Rico to do the Tiere A-L, while I go from M-Z, everyone understand? Kowalski and Private, guard the HQ," sagte Skipper. "Aye aye Skippah!!" cheered Private. Both Kowalski and Private then saluted as Skipper and Rico headed off to do their monthly rolecheck on the zoo. Rico then proceeded to go to the habitats with Tiere whose names started with the letter 'A', while Skipper went to the exhibits with Tiere whose names started with 'M', obviously, Marlene was first on his list,...

I have writer's block everybody! For many reasons actually...

First... I'm tired from everyday swimming practice, then my cat died, then my aunt and Grandmother are visiting us and then this song is STUCK INSIDE MY HEAD!

So... I made this to clear some of my writer's block...

Kowalski: Don't Du remember. Private stayed up all last night watching a Lunicorn marathon. So he'll probably just be asleep through the whole thing.

Private starts to snore on the table, mumbling in his dreams about Lunacorns and such. The silent afternoon had left the penguins with nothing to do except relax, and they were spending it in peace.
"Private! Wake up!", Skipper yelled.
"Ahh!" Private jolted out of the small chair and fell onto the floor.
"Go get Kowalski from his lab, he's been working too much, I think he'll appreciate a nice break."
Private stands up and dusts himself off.
"Right away, Skipper!"
