“Skipper, Du think we should start heading home?” Private asked. “Those clouds look awfully nasty,” he observed looking up at the sky.

Skipper glanced out the window. Massive dark clouds rolled across the sky as thunder sounded in the distance. “I agree. Let’s leave a tip and go.”

The two grabbed the bag of snacks to take back to HQ, where the team planned on watching a game. After leaving a twenty Von the register, they went out to the car, tossed the goods in the backseat and started back for the Central Park Zoo. Thankfully, they’d anticipated the rain and Rico had made a temporary roof just in case.

It didn’t take long for the rain to start pouring down and it became difficult to see, so Skipper had to drive slowly. It wasn’t as if he had a choice—the small car had to fight through about three inches of water. It slowly drifted down the sidewalk Weiter to the traffic-filled streets.

“It’s coming down really rough,” Private sagte observantly.

“I noticed,” Skipper sagte irritably. If he could just get to the end of this block he could take a shortcut through Central Park.

When the car reached the bottom of the decline, he hit the breaks, but the car merely turned one-eighty and the current dragged them across the luckily empty street. Skipper reached over and held Private back as they hit the opposite curb, the momentum causing the car to tip and roll over a few times. Both blacked out for a second, but thankfully, neither of them were hurt and both regained consciousness.

“Private, are Du okay?” Skipper asked breathlessly.

“I’m fine—you?” Private replied.

“I’m okay,” he sagte realizing the car was on its side. “We need to flip the car over.”

“Aye,” Private replied.

The two of them climbed out and pushed the car onto its wheels. Then the soaking penguins climbed back in. But when Skipper stepped on the gas, he realized they were stuck in a pit of mud. He groaned.

“Take the wheel,” he instructed. “I’ll go out and try to get us unstuck.”

As Private slid into the driver seat, Skipper walked around to the back of the car and started to push. Private stepped on the gas and the wheels turned with zero traction and mud sprayed everywhere. Skipper cursed under his breath as thunder cracked overhead. He dug his feet into the mud as much as he could and pushed again. This time, the car pulled out of the mud with such force that Skipper fell face-forward into the mud as the car moved ahead. When he got to his feet and shook the muck from his vision, he looked up to see that the car had disappeared. Furrowing his brow, he squinted through the Wand of water and saw that the park sloped downward. He pulled himself vorwärts-, nach vorn in a panic and looked down to see the car plummet into the pond.

“Private!” he screamed, but his words were carried away and Lost in the wind. He leapt onto his stomach and slid down, not even stopping before propelling himself into the water. It was so dark he found it difficult to see, but a flash of lightning illuminated the car a few yards down. He plunged deeper into the water and found the door. He desperately knocked at the window hoping for a response, but it appeared that Private was unconscious. At least, that’s what he prayed. He tugged at the door handle as hard as he could, but the pressure was uneven on either side of the door—it was impossible.

The car finally hit the floor of the pond and Skipper searched for something he could use to break the window. He found a large rock and struck the windshield until it broke. Disregarding the sharp glass, he used his flipper to knock shards out of the way as he reached in and felt for Private’s flipper. With relief, he found it and pulled him out, and then carried him to the surface. He gasped for air when he reached the oben, nach oben and pulled Private onto the bank.

“Come on, Private,” he sagte slapping his face. He listened to his chest and panicked when there was no response. He started pumping his chest. “Come on! Wake up, Du Nancy-cat!” he cried desperately. He pumped air into his lungs and restarted compressions.

After a couple of minutes, it seemed helpless. This was all his fault. He didn’t even know they were about to go downhill because of the blinding rain. Damn Mother Nature! he thought. You can’t have him! He’s just a boy!

Finally, Private sputtered water and Skipper turned him onto his side. The rain continued to bore down on oben, nach oben of them, but Skipper was almost grateful because it helped hide the tears streaming down his face.

“Private, are Du okay?!” he called over the howl of the wind and the ferocious tidal wave from above.

“I think so . . . what happened?” Private sagte sitting up.

“The car went into the pond. It’s my fault! I’m so sorry!” Skipper sagte wrapping his flippers around the younger penguin. He almost Lost him.

Private hugged back. “It’s okay! Du couldn’t have known! We need to get back to HQ!”

Skipper nodded in agreement. “Come on! Stay Weiter to me! We can’t separate!”

They locked flippers and fought their way through Central Park, and finally dropped into HQ, which was empty.

“Where are the others?” Private asked shutting the hatch.

“They probably sought refuge in the Zoovenir Shop with the other zoosters,” Skipper suggested.

Private looked at Skipper and filled with concern. “Are Du okay?”

Skipper didn’t respond for a moment. Then he looked at him and forced a smile. “I’m fine. Why don’t we dry up and we’ll play chess oder something?”

“What about the others?” Private asked.

Skipper shrugged. “We’ll catch ‘em later.”
Chapter 2- Sailing to Antarctica

Private just ignored. He put up the flag and wore his life vest. "Wait! We will go with you."Skipper said. Private hesitated but sighed. "Fine but we are not eating fisch oder any thing. We'll only eat pastas, Schokolade balls and for drinks: milk."Private said. "Fine!"Marlene said. They wore their life vests. "But Julien has to stay here because the boot might sink."Private smiled. "No!"Julien exclaimed. They left Julien and the boot moved. At first, it was such a fine weather. The waves moved smoothly. The sun was shining and it was a perfect Tag for sailing. Just...

Dear Doris,
You know I like Du already. And I know Du sagte Du didn't like me all that much. We both know this already. So this letter is so Du know how I felt in the aftermath.
When Du gave me your answer, I felt relieved that I got it over and done with. But slowly, the realization started to sink in and I grew sad and mad and confused. I realized that I spent a good 5 years completely head over heels for Du and now, nothing. I don't have Du in the way I hoped. I've been having weird surges of sadness and anger ever since because I just can't contain myself anymore.
I tried getting over...

Ch.4
I silently slapped myself against the shadow of the brick Wand as Kowalski and Blowhole passed. I knew Kowalski had been forced to Mitmachen Blowhole, no matter what he said. It wouldn’t make sense for Kowalski to Mitmachen forces with the evil delphin for no reason.
Before anyone could notice me, I slid on my belly toward the HQ. The sounds of Skipper, Private, and Rico fighting the lobsters started to fade as I made it into the pinguin habitat and flew through the opening under the fisch bowl. I knew the other three...

Rico was through with letting Private breathe a single breath and wanted to end it. His flipper grasped Private's trachea and backed him up against the wall. The pressure of the pushing flippers on Private's neck allowed him to breathe a small bit and whisper.
P: "Rico, please don't do this! I change my mind. When Skipper rescues us, if Du killed me, what would he think?"
R: "What?"
From out of nowhere Kowalski kicked Rico in the head knocking him out. Kowalski rushed to Private terrifiedly staring at Rico on the ground unconscience.
K: "Don't Du ever do that again! Why!? Why would Du do that,...

Chapter 10: a plan is hatched
‘Oh, god, what have I done?’ Pat thought to himself. ‘I have to wake everyone up.’ Five Minuten later, Pat and Sly had woken up all the captives. “I hope Du can forgive me. I have some very bad news. Blowhole and The Striga are planning to slaughter everyone at the central park zoo. This includes your son, Erik, Mumble.” “What?! Nooooooooooooo!” Then Mumble screamed in extreme madness. “Why should we believe anything that Du say?” Bentley asked, angrily. “We are the only chance for the Central Park Zoo. Von that they'd throw his "corpse" in the trash. From the dump truck he'd jump out and make his way to the zoo. There he would rally up all the Tiere to save his boys and the other penguins. NOTE: This is pretty short, but I wanted to have a cliffhanger before the probably last chapter.

They headed vorwärts-, nach vorn and circled the building. A window got the penguins' attention. Marlene stood watching them through it. Private waved joyously. "Hi, Marlene!" He called. Rico hacked up a grabbling gun and shot it at the window. Under the pressure of the hook the window shattered. They all grabbed on and were hoisted up. They landed on their feet in "ready-postion". Before anything else happened, Marlene grasped Skipper's flipper uncomfortably tight.

Kowalski was in a big white space. No furniture, no windows and no doors.
As far as the eye can see only white!
"Hello?" Kowalski called in the cold white. His voice echoed from the walls, but he got no answer. What had Lara sagte about Level 2? We must fight against our fears.
Alone! What were his fears? Did he have any?
Yes!
At that moment the ground began to shake and suddenly an animal with 8 arms stood before him.
Space Squid!
Kowalski could just hold in his usual girls scream.
The worst part was, he had NOTHING to defend himself! Nothing at all!
The Squid spit a disgusting green liquid at Kowalski,...

This is a poem I wrote for my friend Kowalski (Lt_Kowalski) Enjoy...

Before me, he stands as tall as a baum with feathers of ebony and eyes of teal.

He has been through so much and here he stands before me, my friend...

He can make Du laugh. He can make Du smile when Du feel down.

He is kindhearted and friendly, a good friend, indeed...

a rolemodel, like a legend he stands before me as tall as the baum itself... What is this feeling... This feeling is weird..

It is a warm feeling... A feeling of warmth like I have been covered Von a heavy

blanket in the cold of night.. Is this the feeling of trust...

I open my eyes, blinking away the sleep. I stare at a stone ceiling for a moment, before remembering Rico had made me a bunk.

I turn onto my side at look around the HQ. I hear snores and sleepy murmers from near-by, suggesting the rest were still asleep. I slide out of bed, my eyelids feeling heavy. I rub my eyes to remove the sleep still lingering in them.

I finally feel Mehr awake and decide to have another early morning swim. I softly make my way to the door and slip silently out.

I streach and yawn, as the rising sun beams down on my feathers, making them shiny in the light. I hear a sound...

I makes me think of my favourite stuffed toy back home. (yes, I'm 12 and I sleep with stuffed toys sometimes) Half way around the world.

I get off the floor and wander around the HQ, trying to figure out what to do. I'm normally hungry as soon as I wake up, but I'm not. Then again, this isn't normal. I look at the clock. It's five am, oder as Skipper would say, 0500...

"Wow!" Kowalski was amazed.
"Lara has done it." Called Private.
"Thank you." Suddenly, Lara's voice came from above.
The four looked up, but there was nothing else than to see a beautiful blue sky.
"You can not see me, Du are in the trailer, remember?"
