People saw the Titel card for The otter Woman. It had Skipper and Marlene "dancing" on it. They think it's Skilene.
But it's not.
Sorry.
Du may ask, "Have Du seen it? NO! NO ONE HAS! SO WE DON'T KNOW!"
No, I haven't. BUT my friend in New Zealand saw it. It's already aired there.
Marlene calls herself Arlene after being bleached white (she thinks the others would know her, but they think she's some new animal species). The only reason they like her is her pretty white fur. In no way are they attracted to her personality. And Marlene shows no interest toward any of them. And no, not Skipper. In fact, ESPECIALLY not Skipper, it seems. She doesn't seem to like the attention at all. So yeah, Marlene likes Skipper. /rolls eyes
When they find out that she's actually Marlene, they automatically loose interest.
If anything, this is an ANTI Skilene ep. Do Du guys seriously not see that the makers of PoM are pretty much DENYING Skilene? I have no problem with someone liking Skilene, but face it, it's not going to happen in the show. Think. There was Kitka, first off. Yeah, yeah, they "end" in the ending. BUT if Skipper DID like Marlene, would he fall in Liebe with Kitka? Maybe. But I would think he'd think of Marlene. There are plenty of times Skipper makes fun of Marlene/females and mammals, and even pushes her (In the Line of Doody). And don't give me that "They pretend they don't like each other because they're in love!!!!111111!!!!!!11" crap. It's only true in anime. Anime isn't like real life. In real life (and usually cartoons; the I-hate-you-well-actually-I-love-you-thing is only in anime), people, if they like each other, come out and say it.
I would rant some more, but Deltora Quest is on, so yeah.

Penguinangel I saw this article, and my first thought was seriously "I wonder if Angie's been here." XD I like Skilene, but really just for the fanart and fanfics. I know they aren't in love with eachother, and they never will be. It's just fun to ship, really. :3

ladywhiplasher Yeah I think so too. They´re just friends. But I´ve seen people, who are obsessed with the idea of skilene. And I just got tired of it. I don´t think that the creators of POM wanted them to be together and would never put a real relationship into the series.

Skipper had a love, still dont know what happened there but he is going to be single in this show. whatever happends outside the show is fandom. has nothing to do with the show and that is that. now i am going to go bow down to the creators for making a "YOUR NOT GETTING SKILENE" epi ^^ hehehe

hanz1192 I don't actually consider the Otter Woman a Skilene episode because the guys (most especially Skipper) fell in love with "ARLENE" not Marlene, I repeat ARLENE. So it doesn't count as Skilene. They fell in love with a different Otter.

And although I don't mind Skilene I think that in the last episode of EVAH we'll see skipper and marlene holding hands or something, like a hint, bcuz a pairing in the actual series would ruin it.

Saori14 Although, when "Arlene" catches Skipper next to the wall drawing him and Arlene with a heart, Arlene's drawing had a chest patch a different colour. This doesn't show up when Arlene's all white, so maybe he was drawing Marlene?

Dear diary: first time Schreiben in you. I guess I'm excited. I am doing this at night, because Skippah might not be happy about it.

I sighed in the darkness of the small, wooden crate. A sudden jerk from the truck made me bang my head on the side of the crate. I groaned in annoyance, but remembered my promise and sighed again. Maybe this hadn't been such a good idea, but I knew I had to, and I wasn't backing out now.

It had been 'The Day'. My goodbye party had looked Mehr like a funeral in my old home, the otter habitat in the California Aquarium. My wooden kiste had been waiting for me at the side of the habitat, and I had been staring into it.
