Does anyone happen to know what Jahr Michael recorded "Fly Away"?

Fly Away is like one of my all time Favoriten and i was just curious about the Jahr it was recorded because when i picture him Singen it i picture like the Bad Era/Dangerous look. But i'm confused because it sagte it was on the 2001 version of the Bad album but i know that doesnt necessarily mean that it was recorded then but i would just like to know. Thanks, (;
