Did Du know that in the episode “You’re Welcome” in Season 5 of Angel – Jäger der Finsternis writers originally wanted Buffy to come and get Angel – Jäger der Finsternis back on track but Sarah Michelle Gellar couldn’t make it due to other obligations so they wrote the episode for Cordelia instead?

It would have been so great to see Buffy be a part of Angel – Jäger der Finsternis season 5 like the writers wanted her to be.
Having Buffy and Angel – Jäger der Finsternis reunite would have been beautiful, although with Spike being there it would probably be kind of awkward and complicated. But I did like how the episode turned out and that Cordelia had a well-written death.

At least Buffy was the writers' first choice, just like she was Angel's first choice!

Flickerflame They also wanted to have more of Buffy in The Girl In Question, but again SMG had other committments. I also think she offered to turn up for the finale, but they decided that'd steal the limelight. Or was it the other way around? I do wonder what they'd have done with Cordy's death if Buffy had been in You're Welcome. Would she have had a different episode? Or would her death just be mentioned?
