Hi all! Just so Du know, I've catered this Artikel to 2013 - er, 2014 - in America, where I happen to live. So here it goes! (And when I say 'survival' I don't mean of the morbid sort, I mean it as their general well being and success in the world)

Snow White: With her kindness, I'm willing to bet that Snow could make it up to about high school, but after that, her naievity (sp?) and trusting nature could betray her in finding both romantic and business relationships that will help her. While she's good at making friends, it's a guarantee that not everyone would be as accepting as the dwarves.

Cinderella:Cinderella would most definitely be a strong contender for living a great modern life. At the beginning of her tale, it's shown that she can work hard and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty, but she's also not afraid to be pampered, so she'd be happy (and if not happy, able to manage) both sides of the spectrum of success.

Aurora: (note: I haven't seen this movie in forever, and it's never been my favorite, so bär with me) Never trust anyone that could put Du into eternal sleep. Aurora didn't know that the witch would hurt her, but like Snow White, this sleeping beauty is just too trusting.

Ariel: I'd have to toss a coin for this one - Ariel is clever and spunky, but she also inhabits the biggest downfall - the 'Oh, look, shiny!'. While she's not necessarily naive, Ariel is too curious for her own good. I'd give her the benefit of the doubt though - she's proven an ability to remove herself from sticky situations.

Belle: Belle is book smart. straße smart? Not so much. But she's proven that cleverness and intelligence can go very far in any time period. Her smarts will carry her successfully into adulthood and farther.

Jasmine: Jasmine's smart, a bit silly (only because I don't want naive to be my buzzword) but her insgesamt attitude will help her be successful.

Pocahontas: Smart. Strong. insgesamt bada**. Enough said.

Mulan: See above. Add adorably clumsy (at the beginning mostly.) Again, enough said.

Tiana: Tiana's smart and hardworking and she can juggle anything like nobody's business. She could totally rock anything anyone throws at her. A+.

Rapunzel: Buzz goes the buzzword. Even though Rapunzel can hold her own, her sheer lack of knowledge of the outside world would be her downfall in the modern times.

Merida: She's tough and spunky in addition to smart. The only bump in the road I can imagine her hitting is something to do with her hotheadedness, but she'll make it far regardless of temper.

Anna: Anna is my Favorit princess, so I regret to write this - Anna would not be terribly well in the modern times. She's clever and brave, sure, but she's a bit awkward and sheltered, especially after living her whole life beyond closed doors. She'd need a better grasp of how to deal with loneliness before she could go anywhere, and while complete selflessness is great in fairytales, she can't continuously risk it all for others in real life.

So, what I've learned from this is that I'm a pessimist and that Disney is slowly but surely creating Mehr strong female characters, with less of 'le buzzword' in their lives.

What are your opinions on the matter? Anything Du disagree with?

 Party Time!!
Party Time!!
Since Halloween is coming, I'll write down some of the princesses favourite Halloween films.

1. Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera

I Liebe this movie and I think it would be perfect for a Halloween party gathering for the princess together! It's about Erik, a deformed man living at the Opera House in Paris and needs love. Christine Daae, fell into a Liebe dreieck between Erik and Raoul, Vicomte De Chagny.

2. Stephen King's Rose Red

The spookiness in this miniseries is the best EVER! I Liebe Stephen King because he's very original with his story, it's base on a mansion in Seattle.

Ella and Kit.
Hi guys, I will be Schreiben 2 of my favourite Disney remake that were make into a live action reboot. I will write down on which of these 2 are my favourites, as well as how they inspired me.

Cinderella (2015)

One of the things I really like about this reboot of the 1950 classic, was that it teaches us to have faith and be kind. We also get to see how Ella manages to stand against her stepmother unlike her animated version, she also meets the prince before meeting him during the ball.

Beauty and the Beast (2017)

Like Cinderella, Belle has Mehr screen-time including the Beast/ Prince Adam. Belle...

 Hello Carrie!!!
Hello Carrie!!!
Hi guys, I have been a Fan of Carrie Underwood from the Tag she auditioned on American Idol in 2005. So, here are my choice for which songs from her are going to be the DP's favourites.

1. Just a Dream

This song Suits Snow White and Princess Aurora, because they sleep for the majority of their respective films.

2. Good Girl

Since Ella has been trying her best to be a good girl to both her stepmother and her stepsisters, this upbeat song makes Ella wants to dance too!

3. Something in the Water

Okay, I know that this song is very religious, but it also Antwort Ariel's prayers about uniting both...

 Loving the cast!
Loving the cast!
Hi guys, I gepostet about these 2 songs on the Beauty and the Beast fanpage and now. Here are my thoughts on why the former has Mehr meaning than the latter.

Strong Meaning

When Terrence Mann sang this on the Original Broadway cast, I cried my herz out because the beast voiced out his remorseful feelings for chasing Belle out of the West Wing. In fact, the song should also be in the 2017 version because the beast felt no remorse shortly chasing Belle out.

Dramatic Ending

Upon listening to Alan Menken's rendition, I was blown away from his performance and I personally wish that Dan Stevens would sing this song for the film, I'm dying to hear his version!

If I Can't Liebe Her

So, here are my two reasons on why I Liebe the song, do tell me on what do Du think and do Du think that it should part of the film?

 Tale as Old as Time
Tale as Old as Time
Hi guys, I managed to see the 2017 reboot of Beauty and the Beast despite the initial boycott over the alleged gay moment for the Malaysian release, as I promise here is my review on the awesome classic!

The Story-Line

While the majority of the film is the same, I was very happy with a number of changes. Like we get to know Mehr about Belle's and the Beast/ Prince Adam's backstory. To which I will write Mehr about in another Artikel soon. Speaking of the Enchantress, I always thought that it is the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella!
The Prologue gives Mehr details than the 1991 version, which...

I finally saw the 2014 Beauty and the Beast and I really loved it despite bad critical reception. Let's start with the costumes and visuals.

Costumes and Visuals
The costumes are stunning! Each of Belle's dresses are so beautiful, and blow the 2017 Belle's wardrobe right out of the water. What I loved is how the film is set in Victorian times so the normal costumes are very drab and gray but the schloss was set in the (16th/17?) century before the curse hit so the costumes are from that era which happens to be my Favorit era fashion-wise. Belle's ivory dress is my Favorit and she looks like...

 Hello Lily!!
Hello Lily!!
Hi guys, again I'm neither being prejudice nor am I putting down Emma Watson in any form of way, especially her Schauspielen skills. So are my thoughts on what would really happen if Lily James played Belle instead.

Interesting Idea

In a Kürzlich interview with Lily, she doesn't mind being typecast in periodical costumes since she was previously from Downton Abbey.
Secondly, Lily can actually sing as we all heard her at the 2015 Aschenputtel reboot ending credits with her rendition of A Dream Is A Wish Your herz Makes, so playing Belle would be a challenge for her.

Not So Good Idea

I personally think...
