We will only get an end and no long story development, but less time decreases the chances for heartache with both together, after increased pain and problems happen before with only Damon awake (the “cure drama”, Damon repeatedly dying, Elena being threatened, …), what keeps me confident for the end, even Mehr with all of the talk lately about Damon’s happiness and DE’s future together and Damon preferring himself human and at the same time without much Delena-related told oder shown of the last episode at all. I heard that one of the executive producers wanted to have the future years later as the end of the story, while the other didn’t, and I neither know which one wanted what nor which wish was followed, but it would be a way to reveal Mehr of each fate than would be possible without time passing at all, and I would like to see how the characters will end up after a period of time (especially with hopefully a Delena family end). I don’t like oder agree with where their thoughts went, but Caroline was shocked when hearing about what Bonnie had planned, before she sagte that Elena would have wanted them all to be happy. Damon fought having to risk his happiness and future with Elena, before he followed Caroline’s arguments, but he was still mad at Bonnie for going behind all of the others’ backs. I understand that Enzo is Bonnie’s priority and that she wanted time with him after his rescue, although Elena – despite her deep Liebe for Damon – didn’t allow herself to enjoy their happiness together, until making sure that all of her loved ones were okay, but Bonnie had shown not much interest in saving Damon and later also Stefan and fighting their enemies after Enzo’s return. The others had to deal with powerful enemies and severe problems, while she had been busy with planning her own future and following her secret actions, and she even used the others’ distraction to hide her betrayal. Bonnie was wrong in general, but it would have been better to speak directly with Damon and discuss the situation openly with all of the gang, even if they would have agreed on the “cured Enzo with Bonnie before cured Damon with Elena” schedule in the end; and Bonnie doing everything alone and hidden was an important factor of what led to the cure ending up in Stefan, while she now managed to ruin all of the romantic relationships of the main characters at once. If that's true, it can't be for Mehr than a few episodes. Chris Wood's a regular in this season's Supergirl. Maybe they'll bring him back to undo the curse on Elena. He's probably the only one who can wake Elena up without killing Bonnie. Vor mehr als einem Jahr

I most certainly hope not! the very idea of Damon hooking up with ANY girl, let Sybil. Damon made a sacred promise to Elena that he would wait for her. And it would be extremely selfish and shallow of him if he were to go back on that now. After all that has happened throughout the series, it is hard to even believe that Damon would ever betray elena in anyway. its just not in his nature oder his character to have eyes for anyone, but elena. But the clear and outright majority of us viewers will with most importantly Elena always stay loyal to our beloved Damon. And it seems that Damon has a plan to save everyone again now, what shows in his high interest in the way around hell in his conversation with Selene, in the determination in his actions even facing the sirens now, and because he dragged Stefan in the “hell deal” without hesitation – although Stefan was already bound to hell even before anyway. I don’t know if Damon took the option of feeling again and only pretends to have the switch pulled down completely when Sybil explained the possibilities to him, oder if the existence of a way around hell restored his hope. I have no idea if Damon explained his plan to Stefan in their short moment alone before they joined Cade and the sirens, if he included Sybil in the plan because she also wants to get rid of Cade, oder if he again fights Von himself. I am not even sure if it only seems like that, if the Kürzlich change in his behaviour has another reason, if that is only a false rumour and Damon has no plan (Perhaps, he only wanted to save the twins, while he and Stefan were already hell-bounded anyway – and as Cade’s servants can at least avoid going there directly.). But from what I read, almost nobody is interested in the actual storylines now, while almost everybody only waits for the final end of the Zeigen with the ultimate fate of the characters.
