Dick Grayson was on the phone with Wally when Bruce came home.
“Oh he just walked in let me ask him”
“Hey Bruce can I go to the Filme with Wally”
“Did Du finish your homework?”
“Yes”
“Then that’s fine”
“Um Bruce can Du spot me a twenty” Dick asked. Bruce sighed and took out his wallet. He then remembered his talk with Conner.
“Dick when did I give Du your allowance”
“Uh three days ago” He answered nervously. Bruce folded he arms.
“What happened to that money?”
“I might have spent it on a few computer devices like flash drives, new CD’s, and maybe some games” He sagte sheepishly
“Dick I don’t think Du should keep hitting me up for money”
“Well what am I suppose to do get a job!?” Dick exclaimed waving his arms
“Yes” Bruce said. Dick dropped his arms and stared at Bruce in disbelief. Then he smirked.
“I’m thirteen. I can’t get a job” He sagte proudly. “That would probably be child abuse” he added.
“I’m not telling Du to work twenty four seven. I just want Du to have a side job. Maybe on the weekend. You’ll need flexible work hours so it won’t disrupt your hero duties” Bruce sagte starting to really think about it.
“Who would hire me?”
“I would. Not at Wayne corp., but I’m sure I could get one of the restaurants I own to give Du a job” Bruce said. Dick started panicking.
“But, but, Du can’t.”
“Dick I think having a job will teach Du some responsibility”
“Haven’t I already learned responsibility when I go out and protect the whole fricken city?”
“Dick it’s final” Bruce sagte sternly. “I’ll make a few calls to get Du a job” Bruce walked away. Dick sighed and murmured angrily. Then he realized that Wally was still on hold.
“Hey Wally”
“Took Du long enough. So are we going?”
“Sorry I can’t”
“What? Why?”
“Because I’m getting a job” Dick sagte angrily
