She could feel it creeping up her ankle and legs. It was hardening, making it impossible for her to move. A laugh sounded as it went higher.
“Sorry Devin but things must be done. Du must be taken out of the picture.”
“What did I do, Amber?!”
“You betrayed me! Du left Sensai, Du stahl, stola BACK your Angel's light, and Du risked everything for one human! That betrayal will never be forgiven!”
“Amber...I'm sorry. I never meant to hurt Du but I had to save him! He was my brother!”
“You think apologizing will help?! No! It's time Du payed the price!”
“What do Du plan to do when I'm gone?”
“Infiltrate. Sensai taught us that. So I'll play pretend.”

The crystal was up to her neck now.
“Oh I know. That's why I'll look like you.”

“Oh yes. I told Du everything was mine and would be!”
Amber touched the stolen halskette on her neck.
“Goodbye Devin.”

Devin sat up, panting. She looked around and took a deep breath. She was safe. It took a few Minuten to regain her composure.
“Oh that was horrible.”
Devin slipped out of bett and over to her cabinet of herbs and potions. She pulled out a mix of cinnamon and vanilla bean, heating up some water. She put the mix in, feeling relaxed Von the scent. She sat on the couch, feet pulled up. She drank the soothing mixture, a full moon Wird angezeigt through her window. She heard a knocking sound and waited a few minutes.
It didn't sound again. Devin went to the door and opened it. The mug spilled from her hand, crashing over the floor. A crystallized rose sat in front of her door. A note was attached to it. Say goodbye to your little friends, my Crystal Angel. I'm coming for you.
