Young Justice Article: Joining Forces Part 13

Robin caught up to Becca just outside the city. Even with his speed he was unable catch the little bird; if Becca didn't want to be caught. He embraced Becca from behind, tripping as he did so. Both fell, rolling a little as the road slanted some. Robin lifted his head, looking at the girl underneath him. Becca stared up at him, tears still running down her cheeks. Robin reached over and pulled off the sunglasses she had slipped on. He stared into Becca's brown eyes and Becca stared back.
“Becca.”
Robin brought the back of his hand to the girl's cheek, caressing the smooth skin beneath. Becca swallowed nervously and tried to Bewegen from underneath her boyfriend. But Robin grabbed her wrists and pinned her down gently. His eyes wandered over Becca's body before moving back to hold her gaze. The girl swallowed again, this time to keep even Mehr tears from falling.
“Dick, go back to Young Justice.”
“No. I don't want to. I want to be with you. Only you.”
The last part was whispered and Becca started shaking her head.
“No Du don't. Du want to leave. The signs are pretty clear Dick.”
“What signs? Du ran, not me.”
“And Du didn't hesitate?”
Robin licked his lips before speaking; he was glad that Becca was with him, even if they were fighting. It was still wonderful to have her.
“Excuse me for being in shock. I hadn't planned for any of that to happen.”
Becca shook her head again, her black-red hair starting to flip around.
“No Du didn't. But why can't Du leave me alone?”
“How can Du not believe what I keep telling you? I may not be the most open person in the world. Did Talia really dwindle your pride down that much that Du doubted for even a Sekunde how much I Liebe you?”
“No. Because everything she sagte was true, Dick. And Du know it.”
“No I don't!”
Robin growled in frustration; evidently, words weren't going to be enough to persuade the girl.
“I think you've been mislead.”
“Dick-”
“Stop talking, Becca.”
The words weren't sagte harshly; in fact they were sagte quite softly. But Becca flinched at them nonetheless. Robin could tell that Becca was going to say something but it was all part of the Boy Wonder's master plan for getting back his little bird.

Things will get a little heated Weiter chapter! NOT for the weak hearted! XD

As we walked through the halls of WayneTech, we exchanged nothing but silence. The Zurück predicament still left us shaking, and now we were out to Suchen for more. It was obvious that Scarecrow knew of our presence, which is why he had the gas sprayed all over the building. Every now and then I heard rats squeaking, glass breaking, and spiders crawling, but none of them so much as gave me a start.
Oddly enough, Robin knew his way around the building. Without getting lost, we retrieved and destroyed much of the fear serums, but we weren't done unless we found Scarecrow.
Finally, letting go...

Becca was quiet when she returned to base. But her pain didn't go undetected. Devin gasped and touched her heart. She fell onto the couch, eyes closed. A hand lifted up her head and her eyes connected with Becca's.

"Who is this?" Batgirl asked.

"uhhhhhh..." was all Robin could muster out.

"Zatanna Zatarra. I'm assuming you're Batgirl?" Zatanna said, sticking out her hand.

Batgirl shook it, still unsure of what the girl was doing here.

Robin finally managed to sort out his brains and turned to Zatanna. "What're Du doing here? I thought your dad grounded Du for life?"

"You activated the distress beacon."

"He what?" everyone asked at once.

Revenge threw a few daggers towards the red-headed villainess.

"Nice try." Ivy sagte as the daggers flew behind her. "You'll have to do better than that."

"I did." Revenge said.

Ivy turned around to see the daggers flying back towards her. They Hit her in the head and exploded, tossing her back as a chemical deteriorated the thron of plants she had been sitting on.
