Artemis tried moving her head but it wouldn't budge. Her eyes were heavy but she forced them open. Her right eye throbbed, telling her of black eye she would soon have. She looked around but couldn't see much of anything for a few minutes. When her eyes adjusted to the dim lighting, she noticed several things. One was the fact that she was standing. Second, needles had been injected into her body as long as the rest of the teams. Third, they were held in some sort of cell. Why would we be taken here? And why allow us to keep our weapons? Something isn't right. Artemis looked around again. They had each been strapped to the metallic wall, needles flowing various colored liquids inside their bodies.
Robin had the same clear liquid Artemis did which could be some sort of drug. Wally's was an indigo blue. Probably a liquid nitrogen that slowed his immune system down. Kaldur and Megan both had a feuer red liquid. Artemis couldn't even begin to guess what it could be. Connor's was a green liquid which could only mean one solution for the Superman clone; liquid Kryptonite. Artemis closed her eyes again. She was feeling weak and sore. She barely remembered the fight that had taken place. But she did remember that Becca wasn't there. That meant they had hope. Because if Becca wasn't captured, she would try and locate them. Becca...please find us. I don't know how much longer we can live like this...
