“Can Du let me down now? I promise I will be a good girl!” I asked sarcastically. Cheshire snorted, “N-“ Joker raised a hand, “Sure!” he said, surprisingly. “Are Du mad?” Ivy and Mr.Sportguy sagte in unison. In case Du are wondering, I still don’t know his name. “A little bit…” He grinned. Harley popped out from behind him, “Or a lot!” She giggled and kissed him quickly on the cheek. Ivy groaned, “Sportsmaster, just make sure to watch her.” Hmm, so his name was Sportsmaster? Interesting. The vine loosened and I fell back down. Slowly it started to retract. “I’ll take that!” Harley sagte quickly and grabbed my gürtel before I could do anything. “Well, it doesn’t completely match, but… it’ll do!” She sagte optimistically as she slid it on. Now was my chance, I quickly ducked down and tripped her, then Joker. Quickly, I got back up and kicked Ivy in the face. She stumbled back in shock. Cheshire lunged at me I dodged. “Look, I don’t want to fight –“ Something grabbed my arm and twisted it around and back. I winced in pain. When I turned around, sure enough, it was Sportsmaster. “Told Du it was a bad idea.” He sagte gruffly to Joker, who, with Harley were now getting up. “I’m just surprised he was stupid enough to believe that I actually would behave!” I added. He grabbed my other arm and did the same, so that I couldn’t move. “Ouch!” I looked at him. Through the mask, I could already tell he was grinning. “I’m not stupid!” Joker snapped while Sportsmaster slid some kind of handcuffs on to hold me. “I’m just highly illogical!” He mumbled.
I looked around. Cheshire had disappeared from the group, so had Ivy. Sportsmaster started to drag me over to Mehr boxes and pushed me down so that I was sitting on one. “So, how did Du know about… the thing?” I looked at him, confused. He pulled out a hockey stick and pushed it against my chest. I looked into his eyes and saw that he was talking about the family thing. “Well,” I sagte angrily, “If Du had actually been there for Artemis, Du would know that I’m her best friend.” I pulled away from the hokey stick. Without thinking, I blurted out, “And I’m an empath, so I just generally know a lot of things.” I gasped as soon as I realized what I said, and bit my lip. Stupid, that’s what I was. Stupid.
“So!” Joker popped up from behind me, I screamed and fell over on to the ground. Sportsmaster pulled me back up, this time not letting go. “What gives?” I yelled. Sportsmaster pulled me back. Joker waltzed up to me, “I am in need of a little favor.” He smiled, playing his small messer through my hair. I pulled away, “After what just happened…… NO.” I sagte sternly. Joker’s smile turned into a frown, then a smirk, “Maybe this will change your mind…” He turned out of the way, reveling Cheshire holding Tony, tied up. “Tony!” I yelled. Then sighed and said, “What do Du want me to do?” “Just a little-“ Harley popped out from behind him and gave him a huge hug. “Puddin! The Babys are hungry and we’re outa food!” She whined. Joker pushed her off, “Well, the hyenas will just have to wait!” He snapped. She frowned and walked off to the corner. “ Anyhoo, I need Du to read someone’s mind.” He stepped eve farther to the side, revealing Ivy…. And Artemis, who was tied back and gagged with Mehr vine. I took a sharp gasp, and sagte quietly, “Art.”
