“I'm bored!” Wally exclaimed.
“So find someone else to bug!” Artemis replied, turning back to her book.
“I can't.”
“And why the heck not?!”
“Because Kaldur went with Aquaman, Superboy and Megan are who knows where and Robin didn't come today. You're the only one here!”
“Well stop bugging me! I have homework. Besides, don't Du have some Berichten Batman gave Du for snooping around his house oder something?”
“Oh yeah.”
Recognized: Robin B01
A grin spread across his face.
“Too late. Rob's back!”
Wally sped off and tackled his best friend as he stepped through the kitchen/living room doorway.
“Wah! Wally! Get off of me!”
“I missed you. Du haven't been around for a whole week.”
Artemis rolled her eyes and scoffed.
“Sometimes I wonder if you're gay,” she sagte to Wally.
He 'humph!'ed and stuck his tongue out at her. Robin laughed and headed inside the room, towards the fridge. Wally noticed he was in his civies, sunglasses in place, and carrying a basket.
“You and Becca have a picnic?” he asked.
“Yep.”
“Did she like your surprise?”
“Loved it.”
“Cool.”
“That was really sweet of Du Robin,” Artemis complimented.
“I wanted to do something special for her,” he explained, grabbing a water bottle and taking a drink. “I mean, she went through a lot already and she deserved to have her parents somewhere special.”
“I agree. I'm starting to wonder if she's taking good care of herself. She never comes over anymore.”
“She'll be over tomorrow.”
“Really?” Wally asked. “But wait! Don't Du have that thing with Batman?”
“Yeah. But she still wants to come; she misses Du guys.”
“That's why I like Becca,” Artemis said. “She doesn't come just for her boyfriend.”
Robin smiled and, placing the basket on the counter, took a sitz Weiter to Artemis.
“What are Du working on?” he asked.
“Ugh! Stupid chemistry homework. Why is it so confusing?”
Before Wally could speak up, Artemis turned her tongue on him.
“Don't Du dare say it's not hard. We aren't all science geeks like you!”
Wally snapped his mouth closed and stuffed his hands in his pockets.
“Here,” Robin sagte on a laugh. “Let me help.”
“What do Du know about chemistry? Besides what Du and Becca have.”
“This was a required class Batman had me take while I was Robin-in-training. I know how to do this.”
Artemis handed over the pen and paper and Robin took over. Halfway into his “session”, Artemis began to understand what he was saying (thank goodness he'd put it into something she could relate to) and finished what he'd started. When she had finished, she heaved a heavy sigh.
“Thank Du so much Robin. Du not only helped me understand science but Du also managed to hush Wally.”
“All in a day's work.”
“Rob? Wanna play some video games?”
“Sure Wally. Let's go.”
