“I will train my students while Du lead your team. When they are trained, I will find the Weiter generation and train them. I will assist Du if Du need help, but I will stay here otherwise” I said. I never turned around.
“Night, you’re quitting the team?” Robin asked
“Yes” I nodded
“But Du never quit. No matter what” he protested
“Exactly. When Du faced Superman, did Du quit? When your mom was kidnapped, did Du quit? When Du wanted to attack Kalder, did Du quit? No. Du kept going, no matter the pain” Wally said
“We need Du Night” Robin said
“Without you, we’re not complete” Artemis said
“Master Night, Du sagte yourself Du loved mans world. Go back. Maybe we can make a schedule so Du can train us, but still be with your family” Leah smiled. A tear dripped from my eye. I hugged her. I checked my watch.
“Everyone inside for the night” I ordered. Everyone walked to the dojo.
‘Harmony? I need Du to stay for a moment’ I thought
‘Okay’ she walked back
‘I need some advice. I know how I tried to throw my sai through Kalder’s head, but I think they want me back. I need to train Du seven though. What do I do?’ I asked
‘I think Du should close your eyes and take a step back. Imagine your life if Du stayed at the dojo, then imagine your life if Du went with the team, but came here to train us every so often’ Harmony instructed. I nodded and closed my eyes. I imagined my life here as a dojo instructor, then my life at the cave, coming here to train my students occasionally. I opened my eyes again.
“Harmony, how did Du get to be so wise?” I smiled
‘I do my best’ she smiled. We walked into the dojo together. I saw everyone standing at the door. They all looked at me and Harmony. I smiled. The only girl from the dojo actually mixing with the team was Ro. She was talking to Robin about tricks to never miss. I pulled down my mask and cleared my throat. They all looked up at me.
“I’ve decided-” my voice squeaked “I’ve decided to stay with the team” I saw Artemis, Megan, Wally and Kalder’s face light up. Robin was too busy talking to Ro to hear me and Connor just nodded.
“I will return every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday to train the Weiter generation. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, I will stay at the cave” I concluded
“Then we must celebrate!” Bri concluded
“PAR-TAY!” Wally yelled. He set up the room in super speed Von moving things out of the middle of the room and putting a stereo and Essen tables in. I laughed as he turned on the radio and started to dance.
