We all spun around to find Superman being raised on a platform. He had a vicious snarl on his face. We backed up.
“Stop Roulette. I’ll stall Sup’s” I said. They all looked at me in concern.
“No. Du stop Roulette. We’ll stall Superman” Huntress said
“No. I can handle him. I’m not fully out of weapons” I said. I used a moon beam to push them out. I closed the hole with my powers. I turned back to Superman. I walked slowly to him, my arms out.
“Superman. You’re not well. I don’t want to hurt you” I sagte slowly.
“But I want to hurt you” he flew at me and punched me into the wall. I defended myself from his blows. He punched me in the gut. Tears stung my eyes. I kicked him in the side of his head. He grabbed my foot and swung me around and threw me at the wall. He punched me again and I heard a crack in my arm. I weakly got up.
“I’m just a small, no powered girl, and Du still can’t knock me out” I mused
“Want to bet?” he punched me rapidly. Each blow felt like an elefant was punching me. I heard Black Canary scream in horror as blood trickled from my mouth. I went to punch, but my blow had no force behind it. Superman picked me up Von my shirt. I winked at him and he punched me across the arena. I hit the ground with a sickening thud. I could feel my strength starting to leave my body. A faint image of a woman stood behind Superman.
“Master Grayson? Is that you?” I asked
“Yes Night. We will be together again. But not today. I do not wish Du to give up your life yet Night. Du must continue to fight. Maybe not this fight, but others. Rest now. Rest and regain your strength. And please, tell my son not to hack your clock anymore” she touched my cheek and my eyes closed. I felt someone pick me up in their arms. I heard a scream and I was dropped. I heard thuds and felt someone press their lips against my cheek. I opened my eyes and saw the team standing around me. They all had their heads bent mournfully. Superman, Green Arrow and Black Canary were their too along with Batman, Shayera and Huntress. I lifted my head slightly and then put it back down. I was too tired to move. I hurt everywhere. My arm felt like it was broken and I could swear I had fractured my rib. I couldn’t talk. I groaned as I was rained on Von tears. They all looked at me. I mouthed the word water. Wally ran off. He was back in Sekunden with a water bottle. He poured some in my mouth.
“Someone schlagen, punsch Superman in the gut for me” I muttered. Black Canary punched him. He didn’t even flinch.
“Night? Are Du okay?” Green Arrow asked. I pointed to Robin and gestured for him to come closer.
“Robin, your mom told me to tell Du not to hack my alarm clock anymore” I smiled weakly. He laughed.
