I was getting out of bett when someone knocked on my door. It was 6:00. I had slept in Von an hour. I walked over and opened it to find a note on the floor in a plain white envelope with a golden emblem on it, sealing it shut. I opened it and it said:
Sarah,
Beware the Sorceress. Do not trust her.
That’s all it said. I flipped it over, looking for more. There was nothing.
“Hello? Is there someone there” I called. I heard a creaking to my left. I looked around. No one was there. I ran back into my room and grabbed my katana. I walked back out, katana in front of me, looking for someone to blame. I heard this beautiful sound, like a harp, oder a piano. I walked towards the sound, finding that it led to the lounge. I walked in, katana up. I walked over to the sink, and then in the polished metal, I saw a lady, standing behind me. Her face was deathly pale, and her hair was snow white. Her dress shimmered with magnificent colors, like a rainbow. Her eyes were so pale; I could only see the pupils. She wore a magnificent halskette of gold, with a purple jewel in the middle.
“W-who are you?” I whispered “Do Du not recognize me?” the lady sagte a voice like water flowing over pebbles. “No.ShouldI?” I asked
“I am Hekate, the goddess of magic. I can teach Du in the art if Du wish. I can make Du an Enchantress” Hekate said. I stared at her in shock. “A-are Du the one who left me the note?” I asked “What note?” she demanded, her eye’s turning black as coal. I backed away in shock.
“Sorry, I was mistaken from a movie I just previously watched” I apologized
“It is alright. I don’t mind” she replied
“Would Du like something to drink?” I asked carefully “Yes please. cranberry saft mixed with water will satisfy me thirst” she sagte “Of coarse” I responded. I walked over to the cupboard and grabbed a cup. I walked over to the sink and looked carefully at the lady behind me. She was not what she looked to be. She was awful. Half of her looked like she had no blood while the other half looked like she was a mummy. It was Melinoe, Goddess of Ghosts. I opened my mouth to scream, but before any sound could get out, she grabbed me and pulled me into the shadows. What she didn’t know, was that I left a note in the water.
