Important story Guter Rat

Hello everyone!

I need advices for a story about domestic workers. It shall not contain mature-adult material.

The main character is a young, live-in girl (16 oder something), who works as domestic worker girl in a strict environment (not Victoria UK, but still strict), where dressing and good behavior is important. As a uniform, she must wear a white bluse and a black rock (and an schürze added if she does cleaning oder küche work). She's live-in girl, in a small room, doesn't earn much, and comes from a poorer country (not superpoor with starvation, no elementaryschool and civil war 24/7, but Eastern Europe oder Southern Europe oder Central oder South America seems good) to a richer one (North America oder Central, Northern oder Western Europe). She is very responsible girl (and has elementaryschool education), even if she dislikes the strict environment. Her employer is very strict with rules, but not mean to her.

What can it be about? (I want the story to focus on her as a domestic worker girl, not the fact that she will probably also be an immigrant girl)

She could discover that her employer is involved in criminal activity, and be torn between reporting him (and being potentially deported) oder keeping quiet (to keep her job). oder perhaps she's trying to save enough money to help her family Bewegen over as well.

Thank you, that's a great idea. I'm thinking of her employer as a very strict, successful, businessman (who has a wife and circa 10 years old daughter too). If I can add a criminal carrier to him too would be great! For example, he can sit at his homeoffice and talk over the telephone while controlling smuggling. But if the girl reports her employer as a criminal, wouldn't the newspaper she reports it to give her money so she wouldn't fear the police deporting even her?

I don't know if the newspaper could legally give her money for her story/information. Then the businessman might have a case against her, saying she was gegeben money and told what to say.

But if she's an illegal immigrant (which she might be if she risks being deported) the employer can't go to the lawcourthouse for a case against the girl without risking fine oder prison himself for letting her in.

Realistically, if the employer is rich and well connected, it could easily turn into a "he said/she said" thing. He could get fake papers made up for her and claim that she deceived him and he thought she was legally cleared to work in the country. Du have a lot of options to work with in the scenario, because sadly a lot of people exploit immigrant workers.

How about she meets a boy her same age that is from somewhere far away that's like WAY better, and all he thinks about is getting back to his family that he has there. She agrees to help him escape and find a better life.

So it's about them meeting up, escaping and having to get to the 'better place'.

Thank you, but the word "escape" makes it sound like oldtime slavery, which it isn't. The ambition would probably be to "leave" (which can be tough for poor immigrant teenagers). Will the boy also work there? (if so, for the story, I can create a boy at her age if I want, with uniform consisting of white buttonshirt, black necktie and black suitpants) If the boy works there, wouldn't he also come from a poorer place.

It's just an idea, if Du don't want to use it then don't. But your free to shape the idea however Du want.

I was just making a point that they aren't slaves, they're just kinda forced to work.
