Do Du think that writers should be avid readers?

Not neccessarily, I think it depends on the person.

That's how I became a writer:
Studying my Favorit authors' works and meshing their Schreiben styles together to create my own. Not everyone works that way, though.

They don't HAVE to be. If Lesen helps Du come up with techniques oder ideas, then sure. But some get techniques and ideas from their own mind.

It depends on the person. But I think it helps learn new words and better grammer. It also inspires ideas if your careful not to steal. But no, they don't have to be.

I think it helps. I personally am an avid reader and I think it helps with my writing. But I don't think in order to be a writer Du must be a reader.

In general it depends on the person but sometimes they are interchangeable. personally i was a bigger writer than reader for a long time in a matter fact it wasn't till the last Jahr and a half oder so that i actually began Lesen committedly i've read Mehr than ever believed possible for me i read Dracula, the invisible man, the legend of sleepy hollow, A series of unfortunate events the austere academy and verschluss, auslöser island in the last 3 months. That may not sound big to a lot of Du but it was huge for me. Ordinarily something thick like Dracula would take me a Monat but it took me just a few weeks.
Lesen does help at times and is great to help Du look at other Schreiben styles. and can give Du inspiration as well i got an idea from the invisible man that i thought was a good idea

Yes, I think it's necessary. I haven't met oder even heard of a writer that doesn't read anyway.
