I layed on the deck for about ten Minuten until I couldn't take it anymore, I had to see the beach. I got down Von myself from the ladder. I went and put on a t-shirt and shorts and called Oakley to see if he would answer his phone. He did. I was lucky.
Hey Oak. Can Du come pick me up and take me to the beach? I ask him.
Yeah sure. I'll be there soon. He said.
Cool thanks. Bye. I said.
I went and told mom and dad that Oakley was taking me to the beach. Dad told me not to get my cast wet and not to get any sand down in it. I sagte I wouldn't and I figured that would be hard to do but I didn't really care. I grabbed my cruches and headed outside to wait for Oakley. He arrived as soon as I got to the end of the driveway.
Hey, thanks for coming. I told Oakley.
No problem sista. Oak sagte while laughing.
I turned around and look in the back sitz and Garrett was sitting in the back with a surfboard that was broken in two pieces with the leash missing.
Hey Garrett. Oak, is that my surfboard? I ask.
Yeah, I thought Du would want it. Oak sagte to me.
I turned around and leaned into the back of the huffed. I pulled my hair into a ponytail and put on my sunglasses before we left the driveway. We blasted Musik all the way to the beach. Since I couldn't walk far we went to the strand that had the lifeguards so I could maybe catch a ride on their four-wheeler. Like I sagte we got there and I knew a couple if the guys that worked there. It just so happen as we pulled up I saw Nick, my crush. He was walking into the main lifeguard tower. I knew a bunch of the people because i surfed daily and usually had a scrape oder two that needed fixing up. Hey, Mr. Don. I sagte as I hobbled my way into the main tower.
Hey, Samantha. Ouch, what happen? He ask.
I was surfing and wasn't paying attention to the swell and it grew an I took a nasty nose dive and log story short my knee hut some rocks when some swells pushed me into them cause it to crack oder something. I told him.
How log Du gonna be out? Mr. Don ask.
I don't really know, but I'm dying to get it off already. I said.
How long have Du had it on? He ask.
Well if Du count the days I was unconious and the days I've had it on awake and all just a little bit over 5 days. I told him.
Your already complaining about?! He said.
Mr. Don Du know surfing and the strand is my whole life. I said.
I know when I was your age I was the same way. He told me.
Really, I think I'm the only girl that likes to surf instead of lying out all day. I sagte laughing.
I don't know Du might have some comp out there. Mr. Don sagte pointing his head towards the ocean.
There's another girl out there? I ask.
Yeah, but she isn't as good as Du are. He said.

Want to go take a look? He ask.

We got on the four-wheeler and took off toward the girl surfing. Icouldnt believe it she was really good.
Is she new here? I ask.
I don't, know never seen her before. He said.
She could be a tourist? I said.
Probably, that news would have be around town already if she was moving here. Mr. Don said.
Yeah, your right. I said.
We sat there for a little bit longer and till she came out of the water. She walked past Mr. Don and me.
Nice surfing. I told her as she walked Von me.

Hmm, not to friendly. Defiently a tourist. Mr. Don said.
Yep. I agree. I told him.
Oakley and Garrett walked Von us and told me that he was going surfing for a little bit but I was free to stay oder whatever. I thought to myself yeah, no problem I'll stay since Du drove me here and all. Mr. Don and I went back to the main lifeguard tower and Nick was in there eating lunch along with a few other guys.
Hey Sam. Nick said. What happened?
Surfing, broke oder cracked my knee. I sagte giving the shorter version.
Oakley sagte it was a longer story than that. Nick said.
Yeah, I didn't wait to bore Du with the details though. I said.
Tell me the whole story. He said.
Du sure? I ask.
Yeah, I wantto hear it. He said.
Okay, hmm where should I start. I sagte and continued. This is what started it all but it was really my fault I wasn't layig attention. I had a wipeout and then paddled back out to the lineup were Oakley and his Friends were. One of his Friends sagte dude that was a nasty fall. I was like yeah. I got mad because he called me a dude, I know it's stupid but-
Not it's not. Nick sagte interupting me.
Thanks. I told him the whole story even the hospital part. It was long.
Wow, man your lucky Oak was watching. Nick said.
Yeah, I would be gone. I said.
Hey, sorry but I got to get back to work, but how about we hang out son ? Nick ask.

Okay I'll call ya. He sagte walking out.
I was smilig so big. I really like him. I wondered if Oakley had anything to do with it. Nah,hopefully not.
Du like him? Mr. Don ask.
That noticeable? I sagte while blushing.
No, but when he left it was. He said.
Oh; okay. I said. I'm going to go watch Oakley surf.
Okay, try not to distract Nick to much though. Mr. Don said.
Yes sir. I sagte grabbing my cruches.
I knew the guy who was working the chairs Du can rent. So I usually got to sit there for free. I watched Oakley and Garrett surf for a little bit and then he came in and we went home.

Not being able to surf was the worst thing ever. That's always how I let out my feelings. I really never got mad like yelling because I would always surf my anger out. We went Home and we ate dinner. I didn't eat much but I went upstairs and layed on my bed. It was around 6 o'clock when my phone rang.
Hello. I sagte answering the phone.
Hey Sam, it's Nick. He said.
Hey what's up? I sagte sounding totally stupid. I had already sagte Hey oder hello.
Just got home. He said.
That's cool. I said.
What about you? He ask me.
Just sitting in my room with total boredom. I said.
Really? Du want to do something tonight then? He ask.
I was smiling major now.
Yeah, I'll have to ask though. I said. Hold on.
I hopped down the stairs and found mom and dad in his office.
Mom, Dad. Nick ask if I could go di something. Can I? I ask.
They both looked at each other and sagte yeah but 11 is curfew.
Thanks. I sagte and walked out.
I picked my phone back up and said. Yeah we can do something.
Okay, how about I pick Du at 7? He said.
Yeah, that would be great. I said.
Okay, see Du in a bit. Bye. He said.
Bye. I said.
I hung up te phone and Rose and Alice were Von my side within seconds.
I need help getting ready! I said.
Okay let's go upstairs. Rose said.
Ok. I started hoping towards the stairs and felt cold arms under me in an instance. It was Emmett.

I made a weird looking face at Rose and Alice.

I took a dusche and then Alice and Rose did my hair,makeup and picked out an outfit for me.
Rose wanted to curl my hair but I told her I didn't want it curled so we left it straight and down. I wanted to put it in a ponytail but Rose and Alice of course wouldn't let me. Alice picked out my clothes which consisted of shorts and my Favorit Billabong Surf Camp t-shirt that I had gotten this summer. I couldn't believe this was going to be my first date. Guys didn't ever talked to me that much because of my wolf gene. They never knew that was the reason but I knew why.
Sam. Samantha! Rose was yelling at me me now.
Sorry, I was thinking. I said.
It's fine but look in the mirro. Alice sagte holding up a mirro.
Wow. I starred at myself in the mirro. It didn't look like me.Ya'll are good.

Soon the door glocke rang and I heard Emmet talking. I hopped down the stairs while Alice carried my cruches. It was easier that way.

My dad walked into the room, once he heard me talking.

Have fun and curfew is 11. Dad sagte before Küssen me on the cheek and then leaving the room.
Nick open the door for me and we left the house. He drove a Land Rover. People in Coconut grove weren't poor at all. I have 2 cars and Land Rover and a 2010 G2 Ford Mustang.
Du look beautiful tonight. Nick told me.
Thanks. I sagte smiling and blushing.
Do Du want to go sit on the strand and talk? Nick ask.

Du want some icecream? He ask.

Okay, let's go to the beach. He said.
We got to the strand and Nick parked the car and then helped me get out of the car.

I bet your bummed that Du can't surf for a while, huh? He said.
Yeah, its driving me nuts! I said.
