Chapter 21! How many Mehr will I write?!

The thing that burst out from the trees was a creature no human oder vampire would have ever seen. It was the size of a leopard with greyish pelz covering its sleek and feline body. On its head were two horns that vaguely resembled a unicorn’s horn. Straight and pointy. Its face was somewhat feline like its body only this wasn’t a big cat. Its lips were pulled back over its teeth and two dominant fangs could be seen. It snarled viciously at us.
Emmett was shocked at the thing that was in front of us. He didn’t know what the hell it was but I did. I could see it in my head. It was a Felinata. It was called that because it was so feline, basically. All its instincts were like that of any big cat.
“Emmett,” I whispered. “Let me deal with it.”
This was what I was born to do. I was supposed to protect people. I had to protect Emmett. He didn’t know how to defeat the Feelinata. One false Bewegen and those fangs would pierce your skin leaving Du dead. There was fatal venom in its fangs. Just one drop in your bloodstream and Du were dead. I wonder if Vampire could be killed Von the venom. I wasn’t going to wait to find out. I stepped out from behind Emmett and faced the Felinata. I reached out to its mind so I would be able to predict its every move. Emmett tried to pull me back behind him but I stood my ground. This was my fight. It was my purpose to fight these Supernatural things.
The Felinata snarled at me. It could sense that I wasn’t a normal human being and it knew that Emmett wasn’t one either. Emmett’s scent burned its nostrils, causing the Felinata to wrinkle its nose.
“You’re making it uncomfortable,” I whispered to Emmett.
“I’m making it uncomfortable?” Emmett voice was loud and sounding slightly angry. “I am not the one with the sharp looking horns and the freaking great bloody fangs!”
“Shush!” I hushed him as the Felinata tensed at Emmett’s loud voice. “You’ll scare it and then we’re dead. It has venom in its fangs. It’s fatal.”
“Then why are Du standing in front of me? I’m the one who’s immortal.”
“Because I know what to do. Now shut up!”
I looked the Felinata directly in the eyes. I had to Zeigen it that we weren’t a threat. But Emmett’s booming voice had done nothing to help us. The Felinata wasn’t prepared to make Friends with us. It saw us as enemies. What to big Katzen do with enemies?
The Felinata ran at us, its mouth opened and its fangs poised to pierce our skin. Using my telekinesis I moved my hand like a bat and hit the Felinata away from us. The Felinata soared through the air and hit a tree. It slumped to the ground and lay still.
“Now what do we do?” Emmett whispered.
I watched the Felinata carefully. I knew it was feinting. It thought that we would go to inspect it, see if we had killed it. When we got close enough it would bite.
“We don’t go near it,” I whispered back. “It’s feinting. It thinks we’ll go over and have a look. Then it will attack.”
“We can’t just stand and watch it all day,” Emmett said. He was getting annoyed. He could attack it like any other animal.
“I know but these can think just like us. It isn’t a dumb little lion, Emmett. It is a Supernatural that has the intelligence of a human. It could outsmart us.”
“Not if we outsmart it first,” Emmett muttered.
“Let’s hope then.”
The Felinata wasn’t getting bored lying on the ground. It knew we had figured out it wasn’t actually hurt. It was going to attack us again but this time Mehr slowly. It wasn’t going to rush into it like before. It knew I had power.
“Be careful,” I sagte to Emmett. “It’s going to attack again but this time a bit Mehr thought will be behind it. It won’t rush at us.”
There was nothing Mehr I wanted to do than to just rush at the creature and break its neck. I didn’t want to wait around all day. But those fangs were poisonous and those horns were sharp. Not much strength had to go behind the horns to break the skin.
The Felinata jumped up quick. It was trying to take us Von surprise Von using fast movements. But our eyes could see every one of its moves. It was advancing on us, slowly but steadily. It let out little snarls to Zeigen us it was dangerous. Emmett snarled once oder twice to Zeigen he was just as dangerous. The Felinata stepped back when Emmett snarled but it knew it showed weakness so it continued. When the Felinata was close enough I struck out with my foot and kicked it in the ribs. It staggered sideways and Emmett shot out and pinned it to the ground. He held its neck down so it couldn’t bite us.
“Now what?” Emmett asked.
The Felinata snapped its teeth and snarled at Emmett but he didn’t flinch. It writhed and thrashed but couldn’t break Emmett’s grip.
I knelt down Weiter to the Felinata and tried to think of what to do. I could let the creature go if it promised not to kill us. But how can a cat keep a promise? I didn’t want to kill, not really. I would give it the chance to live if it left us alone. Maybe I could communicate with it. Would I be able to project my thoughts into its mind?
“Keep a hold of it, Emmett,” I said, closing my eyes. “I’m going to try something.”
I focused my mind onto the Felinata’s. I could hear it, its angry but scared thoughts. I thought to it, to try and calm it and amazingly, it could hear me. I was inside its mind, not just hearing its thoughts; I was inside its actual mind. I sent calming thoughts to it. I needed it to be calm, so it could think rationally.
“It’s stopped moving,” I heard Emmett. “What have Du done?”
I didn’t answer Emmet but focused on speaking to the Felinata. It was getting stressed. It didn’t like me being in its mind, it was freaking it out. I tried to calm it but it wasn’t working. I was scaring the poor creature.
“It’s moving again.”
I opened my eyes and the Felinata was thrashing harder than before. I had definitely scared it. Emmett was finding it difficult to hold it down. It moved its neck violently and snapped its jaws at Emmett. Emmett pulled his hand away automatically. I tried to put my hand on its neck, hold it down but it turned its head to snap at Emmett again. One of its horns caught my arm and stabbed me. This torrent of pain crashed on me and I screamed. I stared at the horn in my arm and for a Sekunde I was just going to leave it there. Then I realised I couldn’t walk around with a Felinata hanging from my arm. I jerked my arm away, causing me Mehr pain, but as the horn was pulled it, it tore a bigger wound in my arm. As soon as the horn was out blood began to pour out profusely. Emmett let go entirely of the Felinata and it jumped up. It didn’t attack but just ran away. I had scared it enough that it didn’t want to be near us. We were a big danger to it and it didn’t want to risk its life. Anyway, it had already injured one of us.
Emmett was staring at the blood that was staining the ground. I covered the wound with my hand and stood up.
Emmett tore his eyes away from the blood and looked at me.
“I need to get Du back,” he said. “You need to see Carlisle.”
“Its fine,” I said, pressing my hand against the wound to try and decrease the blood flowing freely from it. “I’ll heal myself.”
I hoped it would heal. The cut on my head and the paper cut healed fine. There was no trace of a gash in my head when I had looked in the mirror before Charlie had come Home and his big rant. There was no thin cut on my finger from when I had gotten a paper cut and Jasper had tried to eat me. There was no bruise on my shin from when I had fallen onto the stairs. I would be able to heal this time, right?
“No, I should get Du back,” Emmett insisted.
I could see Emmett’s nostrils flaring, taking in the scent of my blood. I needed to get him away from me before he did something he regretted.
“Go Emmett. Go away.”
“I can’t leave you,” he whispered. His eyes were fixed on my bloodstained hand and the steady dripping of the blood to the ground.
“GO!” I shouted. “GO!”
There were three things that Emmett was thinking.
1.    How I needed to get medical attention.
2.    How mouth=watering my blood was and how delicious it would taste when he drank it.
3.    How he needed to get away from me before he killed me and Edward killed him.
Emmett couldn’t come to a decision so I helped him. I pushed him away from me using my mind. He stumbled backwards and I pushed harder but it wasn’t as forceful as it should have been. My energy was draining with every drop of blood that exited my body.
Emmett took the hint and ran.
“Don’t go too far!”I shouted after him. “I’ll shout Du when I’m fine!”
“OK!” I heard him shout back.
The bleeding was beginning to lessen but I had no strength left in me. I tried to lean against a baum but fell down instead. I was on my back and I began to feel dizzy so I tried to stand up but for some reason I couldn’t. I just couldn’t. I could see the sky when lying on my back but for some strange reason there was this blackness that was descending on me. It was getting closer and closer faster and faster. I blinked to see if it was my imagination but when I blinked I couldn’t open my eyes again. Then the pain left my arm and unconsciousness took me.
