What do Du prefer? read the book first then watch the movie, oder watch the movie first then read the book? why?

I prefer to read then watch, but the way I've done it was watch then read. But still read then watch. And honestly I chose that because people should read Mehr then watch. Plus, read it before so Du have an idwa about the movie.;-)
