Once upon a time there was a handsome prince named Geoff that lived in a shining schloss although he had everything his herz ever wanted he was spoiled selfish and unkind. One winter night an old beggar women came to the schloss and offered a single rose in return for shelter from the bitter cold, repulsed Von her hideous appearence the prince sneared at the gift and turned the old woman away, but she warned him not to be diseaved Von appearences for beauty is found within. When he dismissed her again the hags ugliness melted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress Prince Geoff tried to apoligize but it was too late for she could see that there was no Liebe in his herz and as punishment she transformed him into a hideous beast that in legends was called Duncan and place a powerful spell on the schloss and all who live there. Ashamed of his monsterous form he consiled himself inside his schloss with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world. The rose she had offered was an Verzaubert rose if he could learn to Liebe another and earn her Liebe in return before the last petal fell the spell would be broken if not he would remain a beast forever he begane to loose hope. For who could ever learn to Liebe a beast?

In the village there's a beautiful young peasent girl named Bridgette she's the most beautiful girl in her village. Though she's beautiful people find her odd because she reads Bücher and acts like a girl with a brain and isn't calling all over Justin. Justin intended to marry her beautiful she's the most beautiful girl in the village making her the best and he thinks he deserves the best.
