In the original script, it was revealed that the Best Friends (Carrie and Devin), the Sisters (Emma and Kitty), and the Ice Dancers (Jacques and Josee) were set to go to the final 3.
In the final product--where the Cadets and Surfers are in the finale--Anne Maria, Chris McLean, Blaineley, and a picture of Ezekiel made cameos.
Assuming Fresh TV and Cartoon Network stuck with the original plan (where the Besties and Sisters make the finale), here is where I believe the cameos still happen.
Finalists in the Original Script:
Emma and Kitty: 1st Place (secured a spot in the final 2)
Carrie and Devin: 2nd Place (Carrie believe she doesn't have a chance, until Devin proves her otherwise. They manage to take out the biggest threat much to the host's pleasure.)
Jacques and Josee: 3rd Place (See Du never, ice dunces.)

1. Anne Maria- One of the 13 contestants of "Revenge of the Island". She was seen when Emma and Kitty arrive to the Empire State Building.
2. Chris McLean- The host of the primary Zeigen (Total Drama). Seen Lesen a newspaper on the bench when Carrie and Devin drive by.
3. Blaineley- One of the three newcomers of "World Tour". Can be seen when the final three leave the building and take each other's cabs (Kitty believed that Don left them a taxi because the Ice Dancers ruined their old one; Jacques and Josee take the Besties' cab; leaving Carrie and Devin cabless until Devin steps in and hijacks a cab to secure a spot in the final 2.
4. Ezekiel (picture)- Carrie and Devin's cab was stolen Von the Ice Dancers (since the Sisters mistakenly took theirs, thinking Don left them a new cab as the Dancers broke their old one). So, as they are running, they pass Von a Wanted poster of Ezekiel.
Final Message: Two of Stephanie Anne Mills' characters (Kitty and Lindsay) were considered for the finale at one point (Lindsay in season 2 and Kitty in TDRR). Lindsay was set to face off against Duncan in the season 2 finale before her actress had to work on another project. As a result, Beth was written in the finale in her place. For Kitty; she, Emma, Carrie, and Devin were considered for the final three. However, executive medding (cough-Cartoon Network-cough) had the finalist choice rewritten to even out the gender gap (giving Carrie, Devin, Emma, and Kitty lousy eliminations, and bringing back Geoff and Brody). Carrie and Devin were replaced with Geoff and Brody just so the finale can have 3 males (Geoff, Brody, and Jacques). Plus, there was also a season-long plot involving the feud between the Ice Dancers and Cadets, which was why Emma and Kitty (the other of the two all-girl teams left in the season/show) were replaced with the Cadets.
In a nutshell, Lindsay (TDA) and Kitty (TDRR) were set to go to the finals, but they were robbed. For Lindsay, her actress had to work on another show. For Kitty, she and her sister missed the finale because the network wanted to even out the gender-cap (3 males and 3 females), which was why they brought Geoff and Brody back.
