Damon was sitting in the cafeteria of the hospital. He was still angry with Elena. Though angry wasn’t exactly the right word. Defeated was Mehr like it. It felt like the universe was doing everything to keep them apart. Well, Damon meant what he’d said. If Elena died, so would he. He wasn’t going to spend another century and a half alone and hated. Sure, there would be other women begging for his attention, but none of them would be Elena Gilbert.
“Damon?” he heard a weak voice say from behind him. He looked over his shoulder. Elena was standing in the doorway, a blanket over her shoulders.
“Elena, what are Du doing here?” Damon asked worried and he walked towards her.
“I missed you” Elena confessed. “I don’t want to fight anymore and I can’t sleep when I know you’re upset. So, please, come to bett with me?”
He couldn’t argue with her now. She looked so breakable.
“Yeah, okay” he gave in with a faint smile.
He walked her to her room and helped her in bed.
“Damon?” Elena asked faint. “Could Du call Jeremy for me, please? He didn’t Zeigen up today, though he sagte he would. I want to make sure he’s okay”
“Elena Gilbert. Even on her deathbed she still worries about others but herself” Damon sagte a little cynical, but he conjured his phone anyway. “Strange” he frowned. “Bonnie’s tried to call me a few times” He dialed Bonnie’s phone and waited. But no one picked up. “Whatever, she’ll have to call me tomorrow”
He dialed Jeremy’s number, but he didn’t answer his phone either. Damon started calling all of Elena’s friends, Caroline, Tyler, Stefan. He even called Katherine.
“Damon, what is going on? Why isn’t anyone picking up their phones?” Elena asked panicking.
“It’s probably nothing” Damon tried to reassure her. His phone buzzed and he quickly picked up.
“Damon?” Rebekah said. “I’m guessing you’re at the hospital with Elena?” Damon confirmed that. “Good. Stay put. Whatever Du do, do not leave the hospital until Du hear from me again”
Damon hung up and smiled at Elena. “That was Rebekah. She invited everyone over to the Boarding House and the music’s playing pretty loud. They didn’t hear their phones” he lied.
Elena knew he wasn’t telling her the truth, but she felt so tired all of a sudden that she decided to let it go for now. She’d confront him in the morning.

Rachel was cleaning her house. It was the only way for her not to think about what she had done. She was vacuuming when someone rang the doorbell. She unplugged the vacuum-cleaner and walked to the front door. When she opened she came face to face with the person she least expected.
“Hi, Rachel.” Veronica said. “I’m back”
“I wasn’t expecting you” Rachel sagte sheepish. Ronnie conjured a huge smile. “Can I come in?”
Rachel couldn’t come up with an excuse to send her away and thus she stepped away, letting her pass.

The Weiter morning.
It was still very early and the sun hadn’t gone up completely yet. Nevertheless, there seemed to be quite some activity down in the woods. The night before sheriff Liz Forbes had received an anonymous phone call, giving her the exact location of where to find the body of Gabe Lindy. Liz had heard the voice before. I am so worried about my girl!! Elena Gilbert never wanted to be a vampire; she wanted a human life with children and then died in peace. Her Father, Grayson Gilbert was a conceal member. Yes, she loves Stefan and Damon, but she didn’t want to become a vampire :( Elena is such an inspiration for me as a human, after all she went through, she was still so strong and kind, caring, selfless and loving… Now, that she is not human anymore, I’m afraid she will become like Katherine, who was a good person when she was human, when she was Katarina Petrova.
Katherine Pierce is a thoroughly different “person”. Why makes her a vampire now? Why? I know that she will be one, sooner oder later to be with one of the brothers but I didn’t expect so soon! I just hope she will still be as kind as she used to be!
Don’t take me wrong, I Liebe Katherine but I do not want Elena to turn off her humanity!!

This episodes was fantastic. Not only a flashback, which we haven't had in awhile. But it completely broke off from the regular story line. A focus on the Salvatore's together-with very little Elena. Matt and Elena have some real bonding time. While Alaric has the Tag from hell.

I watched season two in a rather piecemeal fashion. I was so disgusted that Damon was the one who loved Katherine for all those years, and she only loves Stefan.
