After Katherine got the cure & she became human why she slowly were dying? Because she was 500 years old and it was inevitable oder because Silas bite her "taking" her blood & the cure from her?

Exactly! I think they only explain this later on season 6 though

Oh, really? I always supposed the old Vampire wouldn't be able to take the cure without dying... But now that we know Elena won't be in season 7, I hope she will be the one taking it, anyway.
