Another sharp pang to your stomach left ignored. Du had been having contractions for the past week now, but nothing seemed to be happening.
Du were at the Curtis house; waiting for Soda to get Home from work. Ponyboy had been watching Du for today, making sure Du “didn’t overwork yourself” and “was smart.”
The pain struck Du again, and Du just groan. “Baby Grace Du are early. Du aren’t supposed to come out for another two weeks. You’re annoying me.” Du talk to the bulge in your belly.
“(Y/N), are Du ok?” Ponyboy asks from his bedroom.
“I’m fine.” Du answer back, turning your attention back to Mickey maus on TV. All of a sudden Du really wanted some Schokolade milk.
“Hey Ponyboy, can Du get me some Schokolade milk… Please?” Du ask from the couch.
He walks from his room to the kitchen, opens the fridge, and pulls out the gallon of milk. He starts to get a glass, but Du stop him.
“Just bring me the whole carton.” Du wave him over.
“Just don’t get sick… I won’t be able to hear the end of it from Soda,” he says as he hands Du the carton. Du unscrew the lid and gulp.
Another pang hits you, this one different from all the others.
Du spit out the milk, like a bad spit take.
“Ponyboy we need to go.”
The look of pure panic crept onto his face.
“Go where?” He asked, eyes wide.
“The hospital. Like now.”
“I can’t drive!” Ponyboy says, starting to pace.
“And I can’t walk!” Du say.
“Oh my god, what are we gonna do?” He asks.
“I don’t know, you’re the one supposed to be taking care of… Owwww.” Du clutch your stomach.
“Ok… Uhh let me call someone to come and get us.” He runs to the phone.
Du wince as another contraction hits.
Du might just be having a baby on the couch.

I chuckle. I was sitting outside of the community college on the steps, waiting for Soda to come pick me up. He was late; as usual.
“Yes. I it’s quite refreshing actually.” I tell (Y/N), looking up at the rain.
“Cleanses the mind?” She laughs, sitting down Weiter to me.
“Your hair is gonna get all wet.”
“I don’t care.” She shrugs.
“I thought girls cared about their hair. Especially girls with pretty hair.”
“You really think I have pretty hair?” She laughs.
“Yeah I do.” I grin.
“You don’t seem like the type to be all cute.”
“Well, maybe I like Du that much to be that type.” I grin.
“Really?” She grins, tilting her head to the side.
“Really.” I smile, leaning in as the sparks fly.
