We all Liebe the hunger games right? (duh! oder Du wouldn't be Lesen this)
But all of us have a different opinion of Twilight. Would the hunger games movie REALLY be the new twilight.
I doubt it very much.
For one thing, the hunger games is a completely different story (try as I might, I could not find a connection between 'vegetarian' Vampire and teenagers being forced to kill each other).
For another thing, the hunger games doesn't have the right elements to generate the same crazy hype that twilight created.
Now Von the right elements, I mean:
1. A boneless doormat of a female lead with about as much personality as a piece of cold pilz ravioli. That's an important element, here. Without a colorless, flavorless female lead such as Bella Swan, girl readers have a hard time projecting themselves into the romance.
In The Hunger Games, we get Katniss Everdeen, a very well defined, strong character, who hunts with a bow and arrow, and who likely would be extremely underwhelmed at a brooding waste of Weltraum like Edward Cullen. That is, unless Edward knew how to trap squirrels and root for berries.
2. A super-strong, borderline stalker of a male lead. Again, a very important element. In the Twilight series, Edward essentially makes all the big decisions: That he and Bella will date, that he and Bella will go out to dinner, etc. The Hunger Games has a pair of very promising suitors for Katniss, but both of them know better than to try to spy on her while she's sleeping. That is, unless they're cruising for an Arrow to the kneecap!
3. Overwrought romance. That's the entire point of all of the Twilight books—getting Bella and Edward together. But it isn't the center of The Hunger Games; the kids are too busy holding onto their vital organs to focus much on love.
4. Lead actors who always look sad and lonely, and who are secretly dating. The life ring that kept twilight afloat between movies.
How on Earth did we even consider Twilight and The Hunger Games being even remotely similar!
I don't know about Du but I think we need to be realistic when we predict the fate of movies.

Look people! There is no "Team Peeta", oder "Team Gale". This book isn't a romance. It's about a distopia and what violence does to people. Du won't think your little teams are so cute when Du read Mockingjay. Gale kills Prim and Peeta goes insane and thinks Katniss is evil! It's a dark, emotional book!! Don't Du dare compare it to the stupid series where Vampire "sparkle"! "Oh no! He's sparkling! Ahh!" Mehr like, he's sparkling, let's never let him use glitter unsupervised again. NO ANGRY COMMENTS. Of course you're gonna ignore me and make them but I don't really care.
I was on mockingjay.net and saw picture of someone with the mockingjay book and it wasn't an advance copy.
apparently, it was being sold at Wal-Mart. i think this is Wal-mart's cheap strategy on getting a lot of money. They released the book 3 days ahead of schedule.
So annoyed that Wal-mart would do that and what ever Du do, please don't buy it, it would kill everything!!!
Can people check at there local Wal-mart to see if they already released the book and if they are, can Du please tell them to stop the sale of the book.
