As stated above this is an opinion. It's also one of those challenge things I found on Tumblr. Don't have a tumblr account, so I thought I'd share it here. Don't shoot me for anything I say. Lesen is subjective, and this is how I feel. I stickin' to it.

Favorite Character:

Haymitch. I Liebe that he’s never subtle about what he means oder what he says. He’s real with Katniss from the beginning, even when he has to keep things from her. At one point, Peeta even tells Katniss that she and Haymitch are so much alike, it’s no wonder they didn’t like each other in the beginning. They’re both fighters, but it isn’t until he meets her that he remembers what it means to fight back.

I like Katniss, obviously, because she’s the main character, but there are a lot of inconsistencies with her character, not just flaws. I feel a little Mehr closely to Haymitch’s character, so he’s my favorite.

Least Favorit Character:

Coin. She was two-faced, uncompassionate and unyielding. While Snow was greedy and dangerous, he was honest and wanted what he thought was best for everyone. I really believe he understood what Katniss was trying to do, but in the end, it wasn’t enough. And everything he sagte would happen, did. But Coin didn’t care about the other people of Panem. She only cared about having Mehr power, and I wasn’t sorry that Katniss killed her in the end. Coin deserved it.

Character Du hate that everyone loves:

Don’t know about everyone, but I know a lot of people like Gale, and I don’t. In the first book, yes, he was a good character, but in the Sekunde and third, it was just what he represented and the way he changed that I didn’t really like. oder rather, the way he didn’t. He was already at odds with a lot of what Katniss was going through. The way he assumes that her gifts are Peeta’s just rubs me the wrong way. And he never tries to understand what Katniss has gone through. In the last book, he turns into this uncaring, end-all-be-all character, and he’s jealous of everyone who even looks at Katniss oder shows her the slightest bit of attention — going so far as to say how he was worried that Finnick was interested in her at one point. His Liebe was conditional, and it wasn’t something Katniss really needed.

Character Du Liebe that everyone hates:

I’ve seen a lot of people lately say they hate Peeta, and I can’t figure out why. I loved that he and Katniss were polar opposites but were both still survivors. Peeta stayed with Katniss in the end, whereas Gale so much as abandoned her instead of trying to rebuild their friendship after Prim died. Yes, it would have been difficult, but he didn’t even try. Of course, then I don’t think Katniss would have made it easy for him, but still. Peeta at least made an effort for things to get back to normal in the end, and I think he at least wanted Katniss to be happy no matter who she ended up with.

Favorite Battle Scene:

Honestly can’t think of any one scene right now that stands out Mehr than the others. They were all well-written, but I’m not a battle scene kind of person unless I see it — like in a movie.

Scene that made Du laugh:

Virtually any scene with Haymitch in the first book, especially when he calls Katniss “sweetheart.”

Scene that made Du cry:

Rue’s death, when Finnick cried over Mags, when Finnick died, when Prim died. Pick one. And in the movie, Rue’s death and the aftermath kills me. It’s sad, and it makes me angry and just makes me want to be there with them wreaking havoc. Hopefully, the same thing will happen when I watch Catching Fire. Hopefully, it will be just as effective. oder affective.

The character Du are most like:

It will sound oddly self-serving and a little Mary-Sueish, but in the same situation and the same circumstances, I think I would be like Katniss, especially with her rebellion, personality and survival. I would do everything I could to keep my family alive, and I would learn whatever skill I had to, to ensure they survived until something got in the way of that. I don’t know if I would survive the Games without being a little cunning and clever, because I’m not very physical, but survive I would.

Favorite Quote:

I think Haymitch says, “You could live a thousand lifetimes and still not deserve him.” oder something like that. And while that’s true, if Katniss didn’t have Peeta, she wouldn’t have had anything to live for in the end.

Peeta oder Gale:

If these are my only choices, Peeta. I don’t like Gale. Sorry.

Something Du hate about the series:

Too many people who shouldn’t have died, died in some of the most horrible way, and even though I get it, it’s a war, people die in war, there are so many of them that were unnecessary and wouldn’t have changed the ending if they had lived.

A character Du wish hadn’t died:

Only one? A lot of people will say Prim oder Rue, but I feel like, even though their deaths were awful, they were kind of necessary. If Rue hadn’t died, Katniss might have never appreciated the situation she found herself in at the end of the Games with Peeta. If Prim hadn’t died, Katniss would have blamed Snow for a lot that he had nothing to do with. Some will say Cinna, but it’s the same thing — necessary. So for me, the only one really left is Finnick. His character changed and grew so much, and his death just seemed so pointless to me even if it drove Katniss vorwärts-, nach vorn to get Snow. But even that turned out to be fruitless. And Finnick could have lived and not changed the outcome of the story. So yeah, Finnick — the cute, cocky, confident, broken, wise, funny man he is, was and always will be.

A character Du wish had died:

Gale. Screw the damn “love triangle,” because that’s just fucked up. Too many people have made this a “who will she pick” cheesy Liebe story, and that’s just not what it’s about. It’s about family and trust and knowing the odds won’t ever be in your favor — and beating them anyway. He was cold, removed, jealous, pessimistic and one of the most detached characters I’ve ever read. Plus, with him dead, Katniss would’ve eventually forgiven him for Prim.

Your Favorit tribute (aside from Peeta/Katniss):

Foxface oder Mags. I only wish we’d learned Mehr about them before they died.

Least Favorit tribute:

Any Careers from District One oder Two. They were all just brutal and cocky in a demented way — especially Clove. I get that they’re meant to be that way, but Finnick was technically a Career, and he turned out to be a very good man in the end.

A Frage Du wish had been answered in the end:

How did Panem rebuild itself after Snow and Coin were both dead? New world, oder same song, Sekunde verse?

The worst death:

Finnick’s. Hands down. His head is ripped off Von a bunch of mutts. Katniss throws a bomb down on his body, and it explodes. They don’t even get to bury him. I know other people are melted and get body parts blown off, but Finnick’s hits Home the hardest because he’s one of the few people Katniss actually trusts. If I could switch him with anyone, it would be Gale.

A song that reminds Du of the series:

Monster Von Paramore; Haunted Von Taylor Swift. The first is the series as a whole, especially the Sekunde verse. The Sekunde is Katniss and Peeta as their friendship grows and is challenged.

Favorite Pairing:

Honestly, Katniss and Peeta. A lot of people will say Finnick and Annie, but I found their unhappy ending to be a little disheartening. Plus, we barely learn anything about them as a couple, oder Annie as a person. Not that I don’t Liebe scenes with them, but it’s just cute and sweet like there’s no other facet to their relationship. That’s a little unrealistic.

Least Favorit Pairing:

Katniss and Gale, even though they’re never really together. They should have never been in the first place, but I see a lot of people wish they were together. Not my Favorit at all.

A pairing Du don’t understand:

I could say Finnick and Annie, because they’re not well-developed, but then there’s Gale and Madge. I just don’t get that.

Favorite book of the three:

Catching Fire. Starts off strong, ends strong, introduces characters with staying power and delivers its promised premise. I just loved it.

Favorite Secondary Character:

Madge. I still don’t understand why they took her out of the movie. Is she even in Catching Fire?

Least Favorit Secondary Character:

Caesar Flickerman. He was the one character I think knew everything going on, knew these kids were going to die and still promoted them and made them pretty faces to celebrate and aspire to be like. Not just because he was a TV Personality oder whatever. Maybe it wasn’t until Mockingjay that he realized that, but still. Such a waste of a character.

Dream Cast:

I don’t really imagine anyone’s face while I’m reading, because now that I’ve seen the movie, I see Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and the like. I did however imagine a certain red-haired, green-eyed other character as Finnick. That’s passed because of the new cast for the new movie. So I can totally see Sam Claflin as Finnick. My cousin also like Jena Malone as Johanna, and I agree with her.

Favorite Scene in The Hunger Games:

The Tracker Jacker Scene

Favorite Scene in Catching Fire:

The Cornucopia Scene where Katniss has to decide instantly whether to trust Finnick and knows because of his bracelet that Haymitch is practically ordering her to trust him.

Favorite Scene in Mockingjay:

At the end when Katniss finds Peeta planting primrose bushes around her house.

Favorite thing about the series as a whole:

Characterizations, descriptions, the message, Katniss’ voice, and her struggle. It’s all very real and personal, and it makes Du care what happens to everyone — not just her.

Book oder series Du would recommend to fellow fans:

The Host. This book surprised me, mostly because of its author. Unlike her Twilight fare, Stephenie Meyer got this one right, and I hope she writes a sequel. It deserves it.

Don't know whether anyone will want to, but pass it on if Du want. It's a neat little thing. Really got me thinking. Some things I knew, others I didn't.

She spun it, still looking annoyed and disgusted. Her wig was about to fall off her head.

And it landed on…

Cato.

Effie clapped her hands enthusiastically, forgetting how annoyed she was just a moment ago.

"Truth oder dare!" She asked.

"Truth," Cato sagte after thinking about it.

Effie thought about it for a few moments. "Okay, I know what to ask!" she declared.

"That's good to know," FoxFace murmured.

"Rate everyone here, and I mean everyone, from 1 to 10. Then say what is your idea of a perfect datum *cough*EFFIE TRINKET!*cough*"

Cato looked at the happy Effie for a moment, then shrugged and looked...
