BingoPB "Hey Bulldog" is criminally underrated. It has one of the best guitar riffs in the history of music.

ktichenor I know! It's such an awesome song.

RocknRollSoul60 It's such a shame that "Because" was not one of their big hits. It really showed off the vocal harmony between John, Paul, and George.

Peaceandlove67 "Don't Bother Me" is a great song. I read somewhere that George wrote it when he was bedridden with the flu. I think it's very clever. I also think it was admirable that he got the energy to write a song. I've had the flu. I didn't have the energy to do anything. Of course, my favorite George song is "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", which unfortunately, is underrated too.

Rubyrings I thought "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" was one of their biggest hits. It is on the Blue Album - at least I think it is. There would be a lot of overlap between this list and mine! You Like Me Too Much, Here There and Everywhere, And Your Bird Can Sing, Misery, I Need You... to name just a few!

ktichenor ^I found this: Rolling Stone ranked "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" 136th on its list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time", seventh on the "100 Greatest Guitar Songs of All Time", and at number 10 on its list of "The Beatles 100 Greatest Songs". And I think it peeked at #12 on Billboard? So, I think it was a moderate hit? But it should of been bigger, imo. *This probably has changed but it was all I could find :)

80smusiclover1 Great list! I'll say that a lot of George's pre-Abbey Road songs don't get much attention, which is such a shame because it shows how he really evolved as a songwriter over time.

ktichenor Thanks! Agreed, I love hearing how his talent just evolved. His work deserves more appreciation. He's so much more than 'Something' and Here Comes The Sun (both great songs, btw)

60smusicluv I love "Strawberry Fields Forever". It's a very interesting song. I still can't figure out exactly what John says at the end. It just sounds like loud mumbling to me.

ktichenor Tbh, at first I thought it was applesauce *lol* But it's Cranberry sauce, the Beatles and George Martin confirmed it :)

Peaceandlove67 I'll admit when I first heard it, I thought John said, "I buried Paul", but I thought it was an intentional in-joke in response to the rumors about Paul being dead. Of course, I now know that the rumors didn't officially start until Abbey Road was released. I really don't see how being barefooted means that someone is dead.

Rubyrings That's just crazy, isn't it! I can't believe John's actually saying "cranberry sauce". It doesn't sound anything like that to me. You don't suppose John really said "I buried Paul" just as a joke, and then when the rumours started he pretended he hadn't said that so as not to encourage them?

ktichenor ^I know but according to George Martin, he said in the Anthology Book that John liked to just say things sometimes before and after songs for no reason. Almost like counting before and after playing a song, I guess? In fact he said 'sugarplum fairy' before singing 'Day in The Life'. Julian's the same way. I think it's kind of sweet :)

Rubyrings It is sweet! But that could still support my theory that he really did say "I buried Paul", not meaning anything by it or realizing that there would be any "Paul is dead" rumours.

ktichenor Agreed and John was just being John. He meant no harm. Shame how people still come up with crazy rumors like 'Paul is dead' just because of something innocent.

In a very short time, Paul and Winston - which probably wasn't his real name, but as long as he had to hide his own name, Paul could hardly expect Winston to reveal his - were riding pleasantly along on two bikes borrowed from Aunt Mimi's garage. Winston had left a little note thanking her for them, which Paul hadn't seen, so he didn't know whether Winston had put his real name on it.

The leaves ahead of him were rustling, and he could just hear a sort of snuffling breathing mixed in with the growling he'd heard. What was happening?! The Beast of Bodmin Moor wasn't supposed to be here! The Orb of Protection was! But Ringo could tell the Beast was there.
Ringo didn't stop to think. He turned and ran, trying to push his way through the thick trees. Behind him, he could hear the menacing growl of a Beast ready to pounce. He tried to Bewegen faster, but it was difficult to see his way, and his drums slowed him down even more.

The waves swept the floß down the tunnel. Paul clung to the edge with one hand, having just enough presence of mind to clutch his bass with the other. The floß swooped up and down, and he was beginning to feel vaguely seasick. The look on Ringo's face as he half-lay on oben, nach oben of his drum kit told him that he wasn't the only one.
Was this just a natural side effect of floating through tunnels that were probably part of the sewer system, oder was there a Mehr sinister reason behind this? Well, no matter - first the Beatles had to get off this crazy ride!

John was still tired after his first long sleep in days when the Beatles woke up the Weiter morning, but the others were full of nervous energy, hardly able to believe they had survived the night. They were really going to have to do something about this.

And with that, he grabbed the first tool he could find - a pair of tweezers from the first aid kit - and made his way over to one of the windows, as purposefully as he could with the train's movement pitching him in all directions. Hello, everyone! RocknRollSoul60 here, and I am Schreiben about my oben, nach oben ten Beatles songs and why I Liebe them. Anyway, I guess I'll get started.

1. "Good Tag Sunshine"
This song is my favourite, because it's just beautiful. I Liebe the lyrics. "I'm in love, and it's a sunny day." This song always cheers me up when I'm sad. Peaceandlove67 actually sang this song to me one Tag when I was sad, and I felt better.
