Can anyone clarify this: Supernatural is contracted to run for 6 seasons?

he's contracted for six seasons, but that only means he is supposed to do six seasons, not that there'll be six seasons... they could do four and he'd still be contracted for six. The Zeigen itself runs on a Jahr to Jahr renewal, if they're picked up they will probably do another season, just to shut us all up.

As far as i know there is only gonna be 5 seasons because jensen ackles sagte it in an interview at the begining of the 4 series hope i helped xx

Its a fairly wide spread and well believed rumor that Kripke only ever wanted to do 5 seasons. We know that they have been picked up to do season 5 and many Fans are expecting that to be it :(
