Cora has always had one hell of a set of ears.
Though it was rather obvious she'd have a good sense of hearing, being a chincilla. She always preferred using them for rather undesirable uses. Eavesdropping, her common hobby involving her large ears. They were always alert for something to drop in on, no matter what the topic was, as long as it caught her interest. Even when already in conversation with another, her brain seemed to able to multi-task. One half of her brain listening to the current conversation, the other half listening in on another. Only people who knew her well and were extremely observant would notice how her ears perked up and twitched as soon as something good to listen to came along.
It was simply too bad for the unobservant, who had to hear her ramble on about whatever she was eavesdropping on later.
"I was on the train today, and I couldn't help but listen to what a group of young women sitting behind me were saying."
Solaris would've rolled his eyes if he could, but instead they were dull and uninterested. Not that the thickly furred lady sitting across the black Mazuri wood schreibtisch noticed, despite the room being almost like broad daylight. As long as her opinion was sagte aloud for the world, even though her partner was present for buisness.
"One of the women sagte that her son, three years of age apparently, got excluded from nursery."
Solaris raised an eye brow, "And?"
Cora spoke proudly about the excluded boy using horrible grammar as soon as Solaris had finished sending away a waitress for a drink. "That's how she spoke of it! How could any mother speak so proudly about such a thing!" she sagte with a raised, disgusted voice and then she tutted, "If I had children and they were already getting themselves excluded from education at three I'd have nothing to say about it." She then raised a finger to her lips.
The room stayed quiet as the waitress then entered the room with a bottle and a glass, placing them in front of the dark furred tiger before turning and leaving just as quietly. Except for some slight shuffling and the tiger turned around in his chair after the waitress.
"Ahem"
Cora drummed her fingers, bringing Solaris' attention back to the 'conversation'. Before Cora could continue, Solaris popped open the bottle and took a long drink out of it before slamming it on the table. The glass falling over bringing the waitress back in.
"Why do Du always go on about other people!?"
"And why do Du go around throwing tables and breaking bars when Du get angry?"
Solaris then dragged out his chair and stormed out of the room, taking one quick glance at the other women in the room before leaving.
The startled waitress turned towards Cora nervously. "Are Du okay Madame Cora?" The chincilla simply smiled, moving the half-empty bottle to her side of the desk. "Don't worry about me dear, I just need a glass."

Ah~! I find a losted Poesie somewhere in my old laptop and had saved it to this new~
This must be very new, because I had use those words somewhere before~ ^^ Hope Du like this small poetry, for the big words.
*****
I've done my everything
I've crossed the line of invisibility
I've been in hell and heaven
but still, I always return
It's too late to do anything
It's too late to regret
It's too late to look one's eyes
And say I'm sorry
I've seen death
No one remembers me
I've done bad things
I've lied, but still
It's too late to do anything
It's too late to regret
It's too late to look one's eyes
And say I'm sorry
