Sia Separates from Husband Erik Anders Lang 

Sia has split from husband Erik Anders Lang after two years of marriage.

“After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple,” the pair tell PEOPLE in a statement through her rep. “We are, however, dedicated to remaining friends. There will be no further comment.”

The couple married at the Grammy-nominated singer‘s Palm Springs, California home in August 2014, two months after Lang revealed their engagement on Instagram in June 2014.

The notoriously camera-shy artist, 40, has kept her relationship with Lang out of the public eye for the most part. It wasn’t until eight months after her wedding that she confirmed her new marital status on Australian radio show Nova 69.6 in April 2015.

Sia and Lang were last pictured together at the Spotify pre-Grammy party in February.
