Yeah, I think he'd look cool. As for what and where, I think a red tattoo of his symbol on his left forearm would look awesome. Sort of like this.

Firstly, Shadow is black. Even if he got a tattoo, we wouldn't be able to tell what it is, let alone see it. Also, he's the ultimate lifeform, so wouldn't he just bend the needle with his skin? Otherwise, Shadow has had so many tattoo in his lifetime, look at him now. And that, students, was how dark skin was made. (thumbs up; charming wink)
