I'm sure most of the buzz for this Frage is gone since it was asked a week ago, however, I MUST put in my input.
Rob has sagte many times in the past that he is not Edward. He sagte he's similar in a way that he's very possessive over the things he loves.
Now, Rob personifying Edward for money... UNTRUE. Did Rob know that Twilight was a huge thing? Did anyone know that Twilight would be the Weiter huge thing? NO. No one had any idea that Twilight would explode and become a huge phenomenon. He signed contract with Summit Entertainment to do 3 movies. He sagte he hadn't even heard of the Bücher until he was handed the script. He sagte Kristen was the main reason for doing the part. So, I think it's obvious that he isn't doing it for money.
Regarding what he says about Edward... He's trying to take the heat off of him. We all know his character. We know that Rob doesn't like attention. He uncomfortable with it. The Artikel Du posted:
link ...is taken way out of context. He's making a joke. He's saying that if Du met Edward Cullen in real life, Du would be afraid of him. He has flaws. He's not a perfect being, he makes mistakes.
People ask him all the time, "Team Edward oder Team Jacob?" And do Du know what he says? He says "Team Jacob, because if I chose Team Edward, that'd be a little arrogant." Rob is purposefully trying to take the heat off of him because he doesn't want people to think that he is some sort of fad-seeker that gets him famous.
If Du lose faith in him just for one freaking interview, then that's your loss. Take in all the facts first. I don't mean to be rude, but it irks me that one Artikel can change your opinion of him. One Artikel which the media obviously twists and turns to
make it seem like he doesn't care. The exact same thing happens to Kristen. Don't believe anything from magazines. It pains me to see people lose faith in the actors when obviously it's just their words being manipulated.
