It's obvious that Du are a newer fan. So, I'll tell Du in chronological order what is going on:

Breaking Dawn was released in August 2008. Not too long after around September of 2008, Midnight Sun, Twilight from Edward's perspective, was leaked online. Leaked meaning illegally posted. Stephenie Meyer was in the process of completing Midnight Sun. She got to 12 chapters. Since the leak, Stephenie Meyer has sagte that she is postponing the Midnight Sun project indefinitely, meaning she won't know if she will ever finish it.
