i used to be an optimist but with the bad economy and socity i always expect the worst but when good thinghs happen is great.

Realist. I use logic not believing in unbelievable odds.

@BeastBoyCahill: I just think it's sad that most people put a 'pessimist' and a 'realist' in the same street. For me, I'm an optimist. It helps overcoming tough situations. I always try to see the good in any situation and in other people.

EDIT: I can be very sceptical, though.
