I feel like it's harder to give them what they need. I wouldn't really protest unless the pet is something ridiculous like a big cat but even if these examples are domesticated I just don't like the thought of keeping them a pets on principle. It's the same reason I don't like to support zoos or aquariums, though in those cases there's actually some good being done in terms of research and breeding.

It really depends. I feel like animals like this should be left in their natural habitats. I think that the only time you should keep these kinds of animals as pets is if they are safer and happier with you and at your house/environment than they would be in the wild.
