Well I've never babysitter before infant I've never babysitter anyone well if he starts crying when u leave her hand then stay with her oder if she falls asleep holding your hand then slowly take your hand out of her hand put something soft in her hand like a stuff toy oder something and put a kissen beside her so that she will think that your still sitting beside her hope this helps

It depends whether she's hungry, have a diaper change, sing to her and rock her to sleep, maybe she has gas and baby gas drops will do it, oder she maybe begin teething. I had my 3 1/2 niece over and I believe she had gas but my sister picked her up in time, so my sister took care of it.
