Hey! I had lots of fun making the first chapter! It was a combination of that and encouragement that led to the Sekunde chapter. I'm very excited for the third chapter, but until then, enjoy the backstory on how Nate an Eevee met and became friends!
Pokemon Platinum Legends Ch. 2: After All We've Been Through

It was a beautiful summer morning in my Home town, Ecruteak City. The sun was making a soft glow of
orange light over the horizon. There were small houses mad primarily of wood and painted mostly
white, as usual. It was always enjoyable to stare at the sunrise in the morning, right after I woke
up. I always got up at five o'clock in the morning to watch it.
"Breakfast is ready!" I heard my mom call. I always got excited about wondering what was for break-
fast that day. I slowly got off my bed. I opened my door, which was full of drawings that I drew and
taped on it. There was one of a houndour, which had a wide grin. There was another of a totodile,
colored ocean blue. I gradually made my way downstairs, the steps creaking loudly as I descended.
Muffins! I Liebe muffins. Sadly, these were blaubeere, heidelbeere muffins. I only liked Schokolade chip. After I
forced it all down my throat, I asked my mom if I was allowed to go play Von the pond on the other
side of town. She was okay with it.

The wind brushed lightly against my face, a cool breeze. I was pretending to be a pokemon trainer,
playing with my friends, Sophie and Luther.
"Hoothoot, wing attack!"
"Dodge it, Chikorita!"
"Wa-bam! It hit Chikorita Chikorita fainted!
"Awww, come on! Du always win!"
"Chikorita is unable to battle, Nate is the winner!"
"Whaat? That was only one move!"
"But it's super-effective! Remember, we learned that at school!"
"Oh, right..."
From the distance, I heard a screech, almost like a pokemon in pain. I decided that I had to go help
it.
"You two can keep playing together," I told my friends, "I gotta help that pokemon!"
"Uh-okay."
I bolted down the street. I dashed at oben, nach oben speed, even when it was getting hard to breath. There was
a pokemon in trouble, and I had to help it! I discovered that the Quelle of the sound was coming
from a house near the Gym. It was an eevee.
The poor thing was getting bullied Von three other eevee, who were sending scratches and tackles to
it.
"Eee..."
"S-stop it! Leave it alone!"
To my surprise, the eevee who was getting pummeled leap up and scratched me in the face. I
staggered backward, cupping my face with my hands.
"Ouch, what was that for!?"
"Eee!"
It scurried into the distance. I had no clue what was up with it, maybe it was misunderstanding.
Maybe It thought I was with the other three eevee, trying to hurt it. Maybe it just wanted to deal
with the problem Von itself. Whatever the reason, I felt bad for it.
I opened my eyes and uncupped my hands to reveal the other three eevee with nasty looks on their
faces. That freaked me out, so I zipped back Home and lied down in my bed, my herz beating as fast as a machamp can punch.
"Nate... Are Du okay?
"I'm fine, Mom.

Nine Months Later
I dashed down the stairs as quickly as I could. I tripped over my own feet, but I luckily grabbed
on to the rail soon enough.
"Be Mehr careful, Nate!"
"Never mind that, what's for breakfast!?"
"Pancakes! Your favorite! And they're eevee shaped!"
Oh, that's right! It was Tower Memorial Day! The Tag to Remember what had happened to the tower that
had burned down! Legend says that 150 years ago, it was struck Von lightning, starting a fire. A
jolteon, flareon, and vaporeon were trapped inside. All of a sudden, a mythical bird pokemon known
as Ho-Oh revived the pokemon, turning them into almighty legendary pokemon!
No need to worry about that right now, though. There were pfannkuchen that needed eating.

Every year, this Tag is celebrated with many of the younger kimono Girls evolving their eevee with
a stone, if they so chose. It's also celebrated with a feast. That's where we were headed. Too bad
I wasn't hungry, I had eaten twelve pancakes.
After a long while of messing around with my Friends and eating small bits here and there, I came
across a sickening sight. I observed as a kimono Girl abandoned an eevee. Not just any eevee, but
THE eevee.
"Why won't Du evolve?! I'm giving Du my thunder stone! Why isn't it working?!"
"Ee-"
"You're useless. Who would ever want an eevee that can't evolve!? You're a disgrace."
She then proceeded to kick Eevee in the stomach and throw it's pokeball in the garbage.
"Eee..." Eevee's eyes began welling up with tears. In the backround, however, their were three
pokemon snickering. One flareon, one jolteon, one vaporeon. They were no doubt the jerks I've been
trying to save Eevee from for months. Every time had gone just as the first.
All of a sudden, out of nowhere, two men with big red Rs appeared behind the bullies. They planted
devices onto all three, paralyzing each of them.
"Ha! An easy grab!"
"Yeah, and these pokemon are pretty strong!"
"Oh, but they're just a Vorschau of what's to come. Oh boy, when we interrogate the Kimowhatsit
Girls into telling us what they know about Entei, Raikou, and Suicune... Oh, the boss will be so
pleased!"
"Let's grab that Eevee as well, as a little bonus! It might get us an extra buck!"
I stepped out of the shadows.
"I don't know who Du are, but I don't want Du messing with my friend."
"Eee?"
The two grunts burst into laughter.
"Who do Du think we are!? How old are you, like seven!?"
"I'm serious."
They laughed even harder.
"Hahaha, I'll Zeigen Du just how insignificant Du really are!" claimed the first grunt.
"Come on, man. Let's not waste our time on this kid."
"Sorry, but this should be really funny. Go, Zubat!" He hurled a pokeball into the sky. Light-like
energy exited the ball and began to take form.
"Kikiki!"
"Use bite!"
"Ki!"
The eyeless bat-like pokemon zipped toward me. I closed my eyes. This was probably it. I waited. And
waited. And waited. Then I realized that it wasn't going to get me.
"Eee!" I opened my eyes in a squint, then fully. What I saw was amazing. Eevee was fighting off the
zubat! I had never seen it fight before! The zubat swooped down for a bite, but Eevee swatted it
away with Scratch!
"Ugh, Du little! Zubat! Use Leech Life!" Zubat shot a needle at Eevee from it's mouth. It hit Eevee
directly!
"Eevee!"
"E-eee?"
"Hang in there!"
I waited as energy was being drained from Eevee and into Zubat. The Sekunden of waiting turned into
minutes. Finally, it was over. Eevee was still standing! I looked around and remembered the other
Three pokemon.
"Eevee! Use scratch on those devices attached to vaporeon, flareon and jolteon!"
"Eee!"
"Just trust me!"
"Eee? Eee."
Eevee jumped to destroy each device, evading the zubat (Which didn't work out well, because Eevee
wasn't used to fighting).
The eevee evolutions stretched.
"Weeow!"
"Weeu!"
"Uee!"
Eevee spoke to them.
"Eee, eee eee!"
"Ow!"
"Wee!"
"yoo!"
Jolteon used Thunder, Vaporeon used Water Gun, and Flareon used Ember. The zubat fainted instantly!
"Yeah!" I exclaimed with excitement. The grunts put a disgusted look on their faces and walked off
empty-handed, muttering under their breath. We had actually done it! I walked over to the trash can
and withdrew Eevee's pokeball.
"Thanks, jolteon, vaporeon and flareon."
"Wee!"
"Weeu!"
"Eeeu!"
I turned toward Eevee.
"Since your so-called trainer abandoned you, what do Du say about coming along with me?"
Eevee frowned and looked down for a second, before look back up at me with watery eyes and a grin.
"Eee!" It cried happily. Eevee jumped into my arms for a hug.

Present Day
"Wow..." noted Mason. "Now I understand why Du got so upset over that girl insulting Eevee...
"It's fine."
"Huh?"
"Next time we'll win for sure!"
"Yep! Oh? Look! A starly! I'll catch it for sure! Look out Starly, I'm gonna catch ya! Just wait'll
Du see! Oh yeah! I'm gonna-"
"Just catch it already!"
"Hehe, right! Yeah!"
Mason clenched his fist and swayed his arm downward with enthusiasm. He forgot he was supposed to
be helping me. Not only did he let go of me, but he elbowed me in the stomach. I feel over with pain
in my gut.
"S-Sorry!"
